Best Tank With The Ricochet And The Freeze.

Hi every body :P

I come here today for ask you on the tank with my next weapon.

I want to have the Ricochet with the Viking tank, but I don't know if the Viking Tank is the better Tank with this weapons.

Can you help me ?

Is the mammoth better ?

 

And for the Freeze Weapon, what's the better tank ?

For freeze you need speed that's why viking is good and for ricochet you can use both mammoth and viking that depends on your game style but I would suggest using mammoth because 80m shooting distance is enough in small maps and you don't need to move around much.

Hornet got speed but its health power is not good and get killed in few shots. Viking is balanced and good for freeze. Hornet is good with Isida.

And for the ricochet, I think I will take the Mammoth, but I have a question :

The Mamoth is very more expensive (not for the M0, but for the M1, M2, and M3) than the Viking, he hasn't got vitess, and we can buy it a level after the Viking. Is he already more interessant ?

Dude, only pros can use Hornet with Freeze. For sprays, they have like no range, which is why when low range is combined with speed, it's a good combo. Most Marshals think the same I believe. Also, in many guides, Hornet is advised, Viking is only for the larger maps when using Freeze.

 

For Ricochet, yeah, you can use any.

For example, Hornet and Freeze is a really good combination, but as redflow said, the Hornet hasn't got much hp, so it's killed fast.Use Viking.

However, if you have Hornet M2-M3 and Freeze, then better is Hornet. :)

Range of rico is 80 m. I guess then is "out".

 

Otherwise - I don't see a sense using vikings for large maps and hornet for small? On opposite. I think if map is large, you need speed to come across. Of course you need search for hidings and change direction not to be hit. Beside of that - is much easier to kill viking than hornet, especially N2O drugged. Shafts and ricos are too slow for following drugged hornet. In that case thunder with splash effect is better. But viking is simply not fast enough. On other side if distance to complete cover or flag is small enough, then viking can reach his point before opponents defrost. Am I wrong? If I take Reiki12345 and matlep for instance (both are real pros with their freez&hornet and freez&viking combo) - they just proved that over and over again.

Actully, i love freeze + hornet and prodigi paint combo, but if you play silence, island and other small maps go with viking :)

and yes, as you all said, need to have very good skilles when using hornet, in hands of a pro you will be epic, but to bad most of the guys that using hornet are noobs, so i guss hornet got a bad reputation for nothing, cheak out one of the hornet pro i know, cablaz :lol:

I'm currently M2 Hornet

With M3 Isida or M3 Rail. I sort of regret getting rail I should have gone with freeze but I learn from my mistakes.

I have Freeze M0 It works good I have to upgrade it though.. I'd suggest get Hornet with Freeze and Viking for Ricochet... Unless you're a camper and stays in 1 place I'd get mammoth with rico.

I saw many high rank people useing horent+freeze. its a very powerful combination in the right hands . :twisted:

 

This combination is very good for the following maps: kungur, osa, bubruisk, scope, wolfenstain and maybe some others...

 

Viking+ freeze is also very strong but in other maps, for instance : silence, tribute, farm, station, opposition, island, fort knox ans so on .

 

In cunclusion, I think that both combinations are very good and strong .

rico can play along side any Tier 2 tank, freeze however, is most recommended with hornet, viking freeze may be good, but when I use viking freeze, I often can never catch the person who has my flag or just some person i'm trying to kill

viking freeze is good, but once u use hornet u will get addicted to its speed and viking just feels like a crawl

I suggest upgrading Viking or Hornet to M3, upgrading Freeze, Rico and two tier 2 bodies can take years to get to M3, or lots of money. So pick one and upgrade it to M3 because stats change is biggest when you go from M2 to M3. I would say Viking is better to use with both Freeze and Rico because it is more stable platform Rico needs.

 

Mammoth is too slow for Freeze, and is good option only if you play DM, it is very rare in CTF matches.

 

Rico shot will bounce as many times as it needs to, until it travels 80m.
