server connection loss handling is TERRIBLE !

I played a 3 HOURS LONG game on fort knox 3, with 800 CRY in funds.

I was leading the table with a score of 1700 and our team was winning 20-16.

then I got kicked out from the server 20 min to the finish ! and it wouldn't let me re-connect.

then when I finally got connected, some guy joined in and got the last spot on the team.

THIS IS SO ANNOYING ! :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil:

 

A: can I get my crystals back !?

 

B: can the developers do something about that ? that is terrible handling of the game. 5 min are not enough to get back when the server would not take you back.

also - a place should be reserved for returning players. you should not be locked out just because of sever error.

Just refresh immediately if you get "server connection error" and you will be back in battle and resume.

I did, obviously.

 

but the server wouldn't let me in. I got "space error" (2000 something. cant remember the number)

then when I FINALLY got back, the red team was full.

 

 

I think this mechanism is problematic.

 

there should be a system to let returning players back in.

its stupid that a player with 0 score in the game (just joined) is blocking a returning player (who got KICKED BY THE SERVER) with a score of 1700.

i had this problem too yesterday. i was first in a battle with 1400 score and i was first and fund was over 3000 and then i just got 'server connection close be server', i reload the page but it won't let me in. i could have wined 1k crystals in that battle :(

Probably you both spent more than 5 minutes because I play on peak time on server 1 and sometimes my internet disconnects but within 5 minutes when I reconnect, I get back in the battle.

 

why were u kicked out of server? your internet problem? it only happens when you have problem with your ISP.

No read patch/updates section, they said they added new feature that if u getting kicked out of battle u got 2 minutes to return

i was in a game with 5vs5 our team was winning 998 flags-0. Capture limit 999, and I got connection closed when I was 1 second drive from capturing the flag. The battle fund was 50,000. I could of won 40,000.

Dude why would i do that? :evil: i had this problem before also but the fund was small so i didn't ask for help but this time the fund was over 3k so i had to :evil:

^ It's problem with your internet connection not Tanki. I play 999 mins battle in server 1 and I get "connection closed by server" only when problem is with my internet. But if I reconnect within 5 mins I resume my battle.

5 min seems like a reasonable time to get back if YOU had a problem.

as I explained - I did not have a problem with my IC. I checked the browser on other sites (I suspected the problem was at my end) but it worked fine.

 

again: THE SERVER WOULD NOT TAKE ME BACK, and when it finally did, the game was FULL. a guy with 0 points got the last spot.

 

why the limit is set to 5 min ?

what reason is there not to set it at 15-20, so these things would not happen ?

 

why are the mods not responding ?
