I don't care if you don't take it offensively, I wasn't really trying to bother you in actual fact (unlike other times, I have to confess), it was more an insult on MonkeyMagic. contrary to what most people believe, most druggers dont drug to win a game against non druggers. Most drug because it makes the game faster and more fun to play. I would much rather play in a game where everyone drugs. playing against a team that does not drug simply isnt fun and is boring. also heavy druggers (most) dont really care about the crystal fund, its a small drop in the ocean in comparison to the amounts spent.

 

as i eluded to in a previous post - to have a 2 tier game. servers for drug games and servers for no supply.

i believe it has been discussed before but the only way i can think to resolve this issue is to have a subscription. a weekly or monthly subscription, one subscription for no supply battles and another at a higher cost for drug battles (drugs would be infinite after subscribing). This would allow players to choose the type of battle that fits them, and their pocket.

 

servers could be split accordingly and everyone is happy!

 

if people want changes they cant expect to play for free. a 10$ a month charge for no supply should be within everyones reach, even kids with pocket money!

Maybe we could have a limit on drugs per battle. So you could only use them according to... idk score? rank? Ratio?

 

Interesting suggestion... maybe we could think of a way to bring revenue to Tanki some other way so that it would replace the money that people spend on drugs???

So? If you so like Tanki, pay for games with drugs. Then buy drugs for 10.000 and more if you like and start spend.

 

Nvm, every map already have billboards and some maps have graffiti on the walls. Why they not sell that as advertising space? Most popular maps have most costly advertising.

 

This is a great idea and I think it has been brought up before. I assumed that is what they were up to with the billboard art. I also assumed it would roll out in Tanki 2.0, but its just my guess. I think ads in game, which is accepted already in many other online games is a good way of generating income. It does not have to replace the buy vs earn model, just supplement it for added income and better servers and bandwidth.

I can speak from my own experiences and safely say mass drugging to steal pots in CTF games is rampant. Games will be milked along to run up the fund, and then when its big enough, 1234 1234 1234 winner takes all, and the winner is whoever has the most drugs. Also many times a few will look for long games and join INTENDING to try and 1234 their way to the steal. It is not illegal, just common and un-ethical and we have no recourse right now.

Who elected you to speak for all druggers??? Give me a break with this Magic :roll: If you like playing with other druggers to have quick games, good for you. It still does not address the fact that many others don't share your opinion. Some of us LIKE long games of skill and earning our rewards. That is why having seperate servers or games for non-druggers is a good idea. You and your drugger friends can blindly press 1234 for the 20 minutes you enjoy and leave the rest of us alone to play without your kind. Ok? Good. Glad that is settled. :D

None of this nonsense has to happen. If the model Tankki uses to make $ is working now, nothing changes by offering the no-supplies pass for free. Unless of course Tanki is losing $$ and always have. I don't buy drugs, never have and never will. Those that enjoy drugging always will and will buy for that privilege. No one is charged to PLAY, only to BUY. With one exeption: To PLAY a no supplies game, we must PAY! That is unfair.

its often the case that a player in the game calls for help, leading to a clan joining the game to help. as you dont drug, you have no idea how many drugs it can take to win a battle over a number of hours. no where near the pot of crystals one can win at the end. also may of the crystalsin these games are won by a low ranking isida thats been there from the start.

another blind comment. you obviously know nothing about drugging and dismiss that there is any skill involved. I play long games, many of the 'druggers' i play with play long games. as the game is set up like it is then its just tough for you that people like me come in the games and 'steal your hard earned crystals. shame. again you want to freeload and want a nice safe place to do so. as i pay to play i should have the right to come and take your hard earned crsytals as a matter of due course

so again what you are saying is the model works just fine for tanki, it works just fine for those willing to support the game with $$$, but its not fair for the freeloaders, like you and you want to make the game better for you freeloaders so that you can play in peace (for free), with no intention of ever paying (your words). Good luck with that one.

 

as a foot note i cant help noticing that this issue really does seem to bother you. why is this? i can understand it must be really annoying when you play a game for a few hours and some druggers come in and wipe you out in a matter of minuites leaving you with 0 crystals for all your hard earned effort. but it seems to go deeper than that, surly playing a game cant make you this annoyed? perhaps you really would love to play with drugs but are unable to do so? perhaps playing the welfare version of the game gets on your nerves just a little bit?

i loved the 'what an average family spends on food' line. in fact im still laughing now. lol. what relevance to anyone playing a game does what the average american family spends on food have? perhaps you should compare the fact that in some 3rd world countries a family lives off of a buck a day? oh wait, no relevance there either.

Drugging is a part of the game. If you would like to play without drugs then you are better off in No supply games. Which NO ONE uses because you can't spend 500 crystals to gain what? 5k in a month? Oh wait... You never tried those battles. :!:
