Moderator Need Complaint

This seems to be a great problem now. We are down to 3 chat mods, and 1 is kind of inactive. It doesn't matter what it is, but something needs to be done about the bad players at least.

We can report. But that will not help at the very moment. It would be best if there were greater numbers. It'd be the best thing for players who don't want the profanity, cheating, etc,. I feel as if we do stop it, the chats would be over ran by fighting and violations.

lols keep dreaming tanki will never stop having this problem i mean look around you even IRL theres all of this how can you expect a game to stop having these problems? the MODS are there to enforce the rules beside you made this topic to get more MODS so even you know its impossible to not have all this trolls and other pests

That is so freaking true man ! And also the age, that is annoying. Cause it is not about your age, but your responsibility and you English skills. Like I'm very good at English (I had a 9,4 for my test :D), and I can make a dutch version of Tanki Online (This is my skill). Like that is good. And age: Doesn't matter.

 

So many people think age is the difference between mature and immature. Look at some famous people who are above the age of 20 whom are not responsible. Age, race, religion and gender don't matter in the world of knowledge. Also, tolerance is something that many don't have. Why don't they? Because of the violators, since they are not stopped if we don't have enough moderators. We need to keep this site clean of the vulgarity and worthless spam. We don't need people who cheat or 'hack'. We need regular players that have other's people best interest at mind.

If we all agreed to be friends and understood each other, we would have peace. One person can upset the peace and topple everyone to doom. That's why there should be moderators. If we have enough of the 'Police', we would therefore see the big difference. I have seen so many people complain about the violators and I think it's time for a change. A change that pleases the regular player. Sure, the moderators would be criticized, but that won't matter. The player needs to see the why's of a judging and how it is reasonable. As does everyone else.

P.S: Sorry if I don't make sense. I feel tiresome at the time I wrote this.

 

You make good stories :shock:. And I think you are right. Maybe they should do a new moderator test for all the English Moderators, and when they are bad. They have to go, and they should make a topic where everyone can sign up for a trial to become a moderator. And then Koolwalky or Dingus is with them and looks what they do if there is someone violating or swearing, or power-leveling. And then they choose the 10 best moderators. For night, and day (The other side of the world). And every moderator has his own server. Like Koolwalky server 1, Dingus server 2 etc.

 

 

And it should depend on how often they get on as well. The fact that i barely see some moderators is proof that he is not on and we may need a pair for each server. A safety precaution at least, a mandatory stock at most. The fact is that moderators are like regular players, just with the trust of admins and such in a sense. I myself believe that a moderator should choose his own server. 2 per server. It would be an advantage against trolls and other violators.

Plus the fact there should be understandings between moderators and admins. They need to understand one another since I would hardly think there would be a 100% agreement. Not to offend any but it is true. We need more moderators. that is the whole point.

That is right, and I think that Koolwalky and Dingus should be Chat Administrators. And that your age only counts for to become an Administrator, but that you do have to be 12+ for moderator.

That being said, nuclear, do you have any real experience in this matter? Your own forum obviously doesn't count, because you make up the rules there. If you want to be a mod, you have to have good experience on a popular, preferably international forum that probably has something to do with video games. Experience is one of the key things here. Maturity, intelligence, ability to resolve conflicts, ability to take accusations of corruption, a sense of commitment... Do you have all of that?
