Okay, Tanki, we need to talk. I am the fourth rank, (I don't know what it's called, Cpl maybe?) and I'm already mad at this game. It could be so great. But you spend all your time trying to figure out how to get more money, and not a lot of time pleasing your players. I think the pricing is fair, although maybe the no-supplies battle pass should be free (I mean seriously? Having to pay to have to be free of druggers? Wow.) but it's the way you get crystals that bothers me. Why? Because it's too hard to get them. I'm not a paying member, and I think the difficulty you have to deal with to get some crystals to buy your first upgrade is outrageous! Not in a good way, just btw. 30 crystals for an update to the Wasp? It wouldn't be so bad if you could actually get the crystals that are required. Little 1-Crystal boxes in battle, the occasional battle reward, and inviting friends is simply not enough. If you made it easier for us to get crystals, like in battles, making everybody get crystals based on their ranking, that would be cool. PLus, it would eliminate the problems of drugging. Please reply with ideas and suggestions.

All of us started where you are at right now, thenewbie. Keep on doing well in battles, and your crystal income will increase dramatically, along with your rank! You know how the prices get bigger and bigger the higher the rank you are? So do the battle funds and frequency of crystal boxes dropping. =)

 

There are a few websites where you can get paid to take free, safe surveys. www.zeevex.com is a perfect example of one. You can use the currency there, which are called "Zeevex Tokens", to buy crystals in Tanki.

I agree. If You practice in battle, winning is not to hard. also, 1 dollar can buy you 150 crystals :!: and,Tommy60, how many zeevex token are needed to buy crystals?

i know right its is TOTALLY UNFAIR you pay to excape druggers. I mean, druggers, should only get half score for killing people while drugging, and killing drugger, you should get a crystal, or double score, or both.

Actually, if almost everybody had the same upgrade of weapon, it would be more fun. Not as fun for payers (perhaps you, nico?) who buy themselves wins, but much better for the overall community. Of course, the devs might not imply this, since it would cost them a lot of money. The current system isn't so bad as to change it yet, IMO. However, I think greater rewards should be implemented for people that do not get first place, especially for lower levels.

 

As to the drugging problem, I agree something should be done. But I have no idea on a proper solution, so I'm going to keep my mouth shut on that matter.

I have never had the same problem. I was always good for my rank. By Warrant Officer I had Railgun M3 and Titan M3. Anyway, just buy some crystals if the situation is THAT desperate.

Note: I'm only going to reply to your point about crystals, seeing how that is your main point.

 

I have to admit, I somewhat agree. Whilst all of us did start off like that, a lot of us also did have problems at the lowest ranks. I never had any crystal problems (due to the fact that when I was a corporal I already had one of my friends that I invited as a master sergeant and thus I was able to buy what I wanted for a while.), there are also other problems. However, tips for the lowest ranks can include:

 

-Remember that all crystal boxes fall when the fund is 6/12/18/24/etc. Thus, when those numbers come from the battle fund, make sure that you are in the position where the crystal box will drop. This is a massive help for me on my secondary account, because I'm just always there when the box drops ;)

 

-Secondly, make sure you don't waste crystals. I'm sure you know this, but there is no need to test out smoky, firebird, twins, wasp, hunter, and titan. By the time you have all of them you are out of cash for upgrades. Think long and hard about one combination you want to use, and then stick with it, even if you are not convinced if it is the best. I used firebird/hunter, but my two brothers both used different combinations: all of us worked just as well.

 

-Thirdly, if crystals are your problem, play for crystals. Make sure that you play in matches that are going to end before you have to leave, and matches that you have a chance to win. Otherwise, what are you doing complaining about crystals, when your not trying to get them?

 

And by the way, crystals become a lot easier to come by when you get to the higher ranks, as you'd expect. So don't worry about the future, and don't be put off by the high prices. They are actually pretty fair when you get up to those ranks. ;)

I agree with skitte, but I think that most people won't play for more 3 hours a day and rarely over 5. There's no chance of getting more thank 5,000 crystles in that time, unless you join a 500 flag game and at last minute everyone leaves which is impossible. And if you think about it, in most longer battles the fund is well over 5,000 crystles. And in a day tanki gives out about what, 10,000,000 crystals.

I'm not going to read everything, but I'm just going to tell you that as your rank increases and you enter more aggressive matches, earning crystals will be much faster, but weapons/tanks get more expensive. For example: An Island death match with 6 people above WO5, Takes about 20 minutes to earn 40-60 crystals, if your good.

I myself am warrant officer one and my parents only allow me to play computer games for 30 minutes a day, so I am unable to make many crystals by winning battles, and for some reason I am uneligible for

most surveys on zeevex.com and other sites that are similar. Because I can only play for half an hour a day, I cannot win long battles and make many crystals, and I just don't have much money to spend into the game.

 

I think that Tanki Online should make you pay 15 dollars to play, and stop being so selfish. If everybody payed 15 dollars Tanki would make 208 million dollars. Then they should change the 1 crystals boxes to 10 crystal boxes and Gold box should be 500 and it would be a lot easier to make money without playing all day. It would probably make Tanki more money anyway because lots of people who don't donate into the game would pay 15 dollars. Tanki could still have the option to buy crystals, but you wouldn't be forced to.

 

About the no supplies battle pass, I think that should be free or at least 10 crystals in price. Because It's not fair to lose battles just because of a drugger who might otherwise lose to you.
