Clans - Seriously?

First of all you should make clans system on servers (i hope that it will be in v2). I'm not interested of being a member of any clan AT ALL.

correct. English clans are less important, making them just a group ot players playing togeather, no prize for seeing them win a clan war. Not like russian clans.

Kool, being in many clans before, this has been my bad experience:

 

Clans that grow big become so selective on who gets all the attention! For example, in DD when I'm on their xat, I'll ask a question or something, and no one will ever respond! It's almost like I'm not even there, only I am. It's so big that the only way to get respect is to be a big buyer or VIP. Unfortunately, most of us here aren't people who work and support themselves yet, so buying is impossible most of the time.

 

Then again there's that finicky rule about majors. People who create clans want to be strong. The problem is that if a person just hit major, and major is the highest rank in the clan, how in the world do you think that clan will compete against other clans!? Inflation. I miss the simple days. I remember when SS was in its glory days. Meat had a nice isida, cabby had a hornet, and lots of other people just used rail. Now what does everyone have? An all M3 garage with all the best paints and $600 dollar tanks. Since this is a battle oriented game, people want to only create a clan that can dominate the battlefield. The way I see it, the problem now is that our community has the mediocre people, then the group of people who buy like crazy who are in a whole different league. It's just not fair for everyone. If you want more clans, you need more people who can compete. Right now there is a great lacking of people who can do just that.

Kool, you worry about clans? We have a hard enough time telling people what Mods do. For example:

 

Do you remember the the time I ran into you on Server Chat (And tried to get you to join Silence DM but you were busy)? Even when you were banning spammers people kept asking "What's a mod?" or just kept spamming. I think you should add in a little "M" beside your name in chat so people know. I think this is more of an issue than clans. We have 3 good clans. Quality beats Quantity.

Glad to know someone else to, still remembers old SS glory days, there was no other major clans back then. We had fun, good times.

 

btw Meat still has that nice isida, and i'm still sticking with my old buddy hornet ;)

We have 3 good clans. Quality beats Quantity.

We cannot have a championship, let alone good competition with just 3 clans.

 

As for the people who're saying they can't compete without an M3/M3 Garage. You can... The clan wars and the Championships will be made keeping all the clans in mind. And right now, 3 of the active clans have decided in favour of the simple.. Railgun and Dictator battles. Or AKA, the Classic rules of clan championships. Then why aren't we having a championship? Because we don't have enough clans to even make it one week long!

i think one is that many clans die too fast

so people are afraid of that happening to their clans

all the players who use the forum generally want to go into a powerful clan than making on clan themselves

 

i think if you put a rule of having maximum no. of players in a clan as 8 or 10

then there will be more clans

Then comes the fact that only 6 players can take part in a clan battle ~ Championship battle. DD normally has 10-12 ready for each. Why are all the other guys over there? They really aren't gaining anything!

So you are more than happy to get owned in a "no rules" championship? That can be arranged much easily but we just don't enough players to even stand up against the larger clans. Now that the larger clans are lowering themselves down so you guys can play you just reject the idea by that post.

 

This thread is not about what should be allowed or not, this is just about why there aren't any new clans coming up.

The problem with that is not everyone has Rail/Tater. Many people don't own a rail or Tater as there is so much choice! I don't have a rail, and only have an M1 tater, and I don't plan on upgrading it!

 

Well, IC is ready to return when chris gets major, which will be in a couple of months... and we're tougher, slicker, and more sleek this time! We know the mistakes we made last time, and we're going to be back... just wait on a tiny bit.

 

 

EDIT: And we'll be a pretty weak clan, seeing how our primary aims are to have fun, not to win, and we have no weapon/tank requirements and will have no wep/tank requirements, only maturity requirements. This could encourage more "weaker" clans, because if there is one or two weak clans already, more will be encouraged!

Cool. Mabye I should start one. I wasent shure though, because of these reasons:

1. Alot of my friends are in another clan

2. Worried about getting together members

3. Not knowing how to post pics

4. Rank. (Im only W02 :oops: )

Those are my reasons. :-) But I think I wanna stick with my friends though. :wink:

Uhm, this is why nobody makes a Clan:

 

- There are less players on the Forum, and less players players are on the English part, so there are too less players for making a good clan;

-Almost every clan gets closed and almost every inexpiriented clan leader gets belittled, so they don't want to make a Clan;

-They don't know a good name, cause if you don't have a good one, you get belittled for that;

-There are too many 'Huge Clans', and you don't want to battle against them, to become the greatest one, cause they will win;
