Clans - Seriously?

what your need is a "unofficial" clan league just like soccer have league A(whr the pros are) and league B (close to pro but not yet) the league B clans can get a good start playing against other clans which have about the same kind of tanks and ranks plus they would get the experience they need in running a clan so when they finally graduate to League A they would be a good strong clan not gonna be push around by the clans already there ;)

Imo, if we want more clans, we need to:

-Get a bunch more sensibleness in clans. So many clans (NFG, TI, other examples are around) sprang up, became powerful, died. End of. A bit more mature heads does help. I know a lot of clans didn't die from a lack of maturity, but you know what I mean.

 

-Split up big clans. DD could do with splitting up if they really want to get more clans going.

 

-Get people to join the weaker clans. For example, Snyper22 just created a clan, but nobody joined. Now, I'm sure that if koolwalky, meat, or another big name like that would have joined that clan immediately, lots of people would have joined. If one of the big boys goes and joins a clan, c'mon, you'll build it up! Realise the amount of influence you have, kool and the others. If you want more clans kool, how about joining the next serious clan that springs up with no members? It may not be fun at the start, but when more and more people join (because you have an influence), then it'll be a lot better.

 

-But at the same time, friend groups like to stick together. Like I know now, that I could never leave the boys at IC, we are just like tanki family, as clans should be. So that does sort of hurt the problem of multiple clans, as everyone likes to be with everyone.... well, I don't know a solution really, just that's my two cents.

That does need to increase.

 

I've yet to see what value clanning has. You can't support or build newer players by sharing crystals. No records of individual or clan achievements exist. What value is in clanning, Kool?

Try going into a clan, and seeing there. As tanki is a game of fun with the aim (as with all games), then I think, from my own experience, that clanning can increase that fun.

+1 agreed groups made out of close friends do seem like the logical choice in a long lasting clan if tanki would allow unofficial clans like i suggested then at lower ranks people can start grouping up and having fun with each other if the bond is good they ll become a good strong clan :P

This is why I am not bothered with clans. I hate the Railgun/Dictator battles.

So you are more than happy to get owned in a "no rules" championship? That can be arranged much easily but we just don't enough players to even stand up against the larger clans. Now that the larger clans are lowering themselves down so you guys can play you just reject the idea by that post.

 

This thread is not about what should be allowed or not, this is just about why there aren't any new clans coming up.

 

Kool, I only have M0 Dictator. I bought it randomly and hate it. I have M3 Railgun, yes, but Dictator is a no-go. I would help in creating a clan but I am not Major yet. About a rank and half off.

I'm 2nd Lt. I'd make an official clan if I could. But the rank is too high IMO. The vast majority of english forum users are WO ranks and lt. ranks. If you lowered clan creation to 3rd lt. and joining to WO3 I'm sure we'd see a lot more clans. Do you ever feel guilty for closing so many clans because of rank? I would.

@kingeoin14, All right, so maybe we can get on a compromise between Tier 1 and Tier 2 if we can't get enough Railgun/Dictators.

 

@ShadowVisions, The question comes that if the vast majority is WO or Lieut, then where do they go when they reach Major? I've seen quite a lot of good players reach Major and not make a clan.

 

@skitee, I would love to join a less populated clan but the problem is that right now I'm busy with DD in the TOF. Maybe after that I might also make my own clan (Or maybe SS can come back) if DD doesn't stand up to its name.

Anyway, I would love to see Mammoths used in Clan Wars. I think Tier 1 battles are not that good because once people get into Tier 2 they forget about Tier 1...

I'd prefer the 2nd, but I don't think everyone having a Rail/Tater is the best idea. It's a combo that costs over 10000 if you have none of it and that's a bit much just for clan wars. Maybe clans can work out the restrictions for each individual battle?

responsible people need to be a leader, to organize forums, battles, your team, someone who plans everything right. I always wanted to join a clan battle, but never had the opportunity ... there was no organization in my clan (which is inactive) to compete in the TOF. we need competent people!!

Lmao you guys kill me.Complaining there isnt enough clans.Lower the rank to start a clan let the clans grow into a good clan.Now go to the clan section and look at all the locked topics.Most players dont like coming to the forum because of all the smart remarks and all the topics getting locked its pathetic.There isnt many clans because of you mods use your brains for once.

Idea: Why not have 2 tiers of clans? Such as Staff Seargent-WO5 and then 3rd Lt and upwards. This would get more people into clans as many english players aren't 3rd lt yet. The only problem I doo see with this is what do you do if you are in a lower tier clan and reach 3rd lt...

When they reach 3rd lit they will have a chance on either staying in that cla or moving to the biger ones but if that tier 1 invades tier2 RIP tier 1 clan
