Spots on silence - Red or Blue?!

Take the map silence (new, look picture below, than you see), for example, what side is better, red or blue, give now you oppinion + post why?

 

My opinion:

I like red, because of my M3 railgun (my only good weapon at the moment). At red you can camp very nice. on this spot, but on the other side of my turret too....

 

But this is a nice spot on the blue side of the map....

In old silence, red has a massive advantage because they can just grab the flag and drop down to capture: it's not that difficult. Even though I hate the map silence, sometimes I just have to play it.

On new silence just get some flags and then sit and wait with freeze to slow down the enemy.

Hmm, you have a point there dingus, but I like to camp sometimes by that building next to the big ramp, especially with rail. But yes, flag wise it is a bit esier to get the flag, but dont forget it is hard to get up the small ramp with practically any type of teamate gaurding it, plus the other way is a heavy spawning point

Red can get flag easier, but to do that, you haveto get to blues base - Difficult

 

2 shafts on the left side of the flag, it can lock down all further advancement at the ramp, when you go up on ramp - Boom, you died or heavy Damaged. if there is 2 or more shafts, they can finish you.

 

Right side of flag. Twins camp where ramp is with a freeze back up, when you come up, *frozen ice-tank* and then you get flipped back down the ramp by the twins.

Dingus, i find the exact opposite of you.

It seems that Blue is easier as they have a easier flag to reach, while Red has to go through 2 chokehold positions, 1 small ramp and a heavily populated area? :?:

In old scilence the blue would snipe from the top, making the reds easy prey, but on the new one... i reckon its easier to get the flag and return to base as the red, because its less fuss, with the blue, the have to make it up a slope, travel, make it up another slop THEN, they have captured it....
