A Formal Protest Against The Ricochet M3

Ricochet as of now, personally is the best weapon in tanki. if you dont like the weapon avoid those users M3 PWNS :twisted: :tank:

I feel very very strongly that the ricochet is completely and way out of balance, they tear through the whole team and annilhate everyone easily, and when they drug, (which they do quite often,) the results are predictable... it doesn't matter if they are going against a Viking M3 or not, and they can even beat a mammoth without a whole lot of trouble!! I primarily use Shaft M2 and I hardly have a chance to shoot back because of the "rocking" that the ricochet does to me, I cannot defend myself which is unfair,,, (and please don't anyone tell me to get Zeus paint because it will help,) lol MrBurks already traveled down that road...

 

 

I formally protest this weapon, and I declare that it is totally and completely unfair to eveyone that plays, and I would like this topic to be brought to a poll for everyone to vote on concerning the power, rocking ability, and rapid fire h/p of the weapon. It is time that we get a chance to fight back against it!! LET YOUR VOICES BE HEARD!!

 

 

You need to get a grip... The thing you need to do is strike before struck. That said, find a place that your weapon is the most powerful, tanki has a lot of options for battle places. Besides all that, i've seen thunders crush m3 rico's close range and far.

If you abhor the weapon, fulfill any of the following options.

 

1. When a ricochet enters the battle you are in, leave immediately, and weep to yourself until you feel better. Then proceed to play in another battle. Repeat the process as many times as necessary.

 

2. Purchase the Zeus paint for 15000 crystals. It has the best protection against this 'unfair' weapon.

 

3. Drug until the ricochet user(s) leave the battle. If your drugging results in an all-out drug war, you have no one to blame but yourself, so you might as well give your face a good slapping a few times before you press '234'.

 

4. Attempt to anger the ricochet by using profanity in the game chat. If you succeed in doing so, he may drug. If he drugs, then other players will most definitely use their own, thus leaving you yourself without any drugs, and a pathetically low D/L ratio. (It is also quite possible that you may get banned, which will also have no positive impact upon your gaming experience.)

 

5. Quit Tanki forever, be a wuss, and cry yourself to sleep each night, wondering why some people would ever want to use a weapon as great as ricochet against poor, little, noobsome YOU.

 

6. (My personal favorite.) Suck it up, take a big breath, and own the ricochet by using pure skill. Smile when you annihilate him, sigh when he destroys you, and get back to the battlefield! [i would recommend trying to stay out of the rico's firing range, so its bullets are unable to knock your tank aside.

Im half-half on this, the rico M3 is a bit stupid in terms of power, i reckon this

A: Dont give it the rocking ability

B: make it about 5HP less damage...

I have to agree with the points made about its ability to bounce you all over the place (I use M3 hornet mostly). That part is way too strong. I dont care that much about the damage, and it does have self damage to balance a bit. The real problem is that it takes no skill in maps like Fort II to have 3 ricos just bounce balls around randomly like a dodgeball game. That sucks. That is no fun at all :( m3 viking with m3 rico can and does own most everyone it seems. I think every combo should have a weakness and I just can't see that combo's weakness. Therefore, it does seem a bit unbalanced.

 

And with that , lets wait 3....2.....1 until a Magic Monkey Man pops in here for the sole purpose to insult ..........

2. Thunder can beat rico under certain conditions, tanks, and what M each is.

3. Freeze excells at beating the rico in close range.

Ah, Snyper and Skit. Like an Acid and an Alkali reacting, you two cancel eachother out. Snyper makes a very good complaint and Skit is right there to counter it. Why don't i? Well maybe it's NO ONE is as big of an offender as you are, and often you instigate other peoples inappropriate behavior. Why don't you try to be accepting of other people's ideas and realize that I'm not the only person who thinks you are being unreasonable. If you want developers to listen to your ideas, then don't keeping using profanity and insulting people, and be constructive in your posts. I recall Dingus saying to you something among the lines of " With that attitude you become the problem". Doesn't seem like the developers are to eager to listen to you anymore.
