If tanki online became a console game...

So forum, should tanki be released as a console game?

I Played in 800 mhz proc and wtf?when it be vista it has no lag but when it become xp it has got veery big lags.

True, but do you have any idea how much processing power flash uses? Why does Tanki lag at full screens when a lot of stuff is going on? Why even the elite players use a decreased window size?

 

Flash literally eats up your processor. I don't believe a console will get out of Tanki, not burnt.

Aside from all the technical difficulties that would arise, so precisely stated by koolwalky, I think as a console game tanki would lose some of its merit. I think what makes tanki so awesome is that it's an accessible and free PC game with intuitive controls, yet lot's of fun. If it were a console, then one would have to buy a game system, etc. Not everyone has the money to do so. On the other hand, just about everyone has a PC. If you don't have a PC, then you're probably some hermit living in cave. Honestly, I think consoles are overrated.

just a side note, tanki could no longer run flash if they sent onto consoles. I have tried running flash on both... and its soooooo slow. Some OS are running somethings better then others, flash is not Xbox and PS3's cup of tea.

Not that i am an advocate or anything, that is what mics are for. For those who cant, I guess they would end up suffering by typing out messages with their controllers just like any other console game :P
