[FAQ] How to record videos

This is a fragrant asked question, and I will try to answer as precisely as possible.

With wich program do you need to record the videos?

The program where you could record videos with is called Screencast-O-Matic. You can choose where the video needs to be recorded on the screen, and with the Alt+P you can pause it.

How to use the Screencast-O-Matic program?

Due to that the program doesn't work twice, I need to explain to you how it works in different steps without a recorded video.

1. Go to the site (http://screencast-o-matic.com/)

2. Push the button Start Recording.

3. If you use Google Chrome, you need to allow that Java will work. On Internet you won't have to do that. That instruction can also be seen on the website after you've done step 2.

4. After that, the program will start up, and there are two different ways of working. Because if you've already recorded one time, you'll need to click use recording or deleting. Or if you haven't recorded yet, you'll be sent to the main page directly.

5. After that, you'll get a square of dots in your screen, and left under or in the middle, you'll get a menu. You should better not do anything with that if you're unexperienced with this program. You must make the square of dots bigger or smaller with the big dots which are in the corners and in the middle of the lines. The square is the area which will be recorded, so you should set that very carefully.

6. You should push ALT+P, and then the 3, 2, 1 screens comes, and after that, it's recording. Now he is recording.

7. When you're done recording, you must push ALT+P again, to set it on pause, and then you can push the 'Done' button.

8. After that you'll be sent to a new menu where SOM, YouTube and save as a video stand. You should choose YouTube if you want to post a video on the forum.

I hope this has worked out, and that you can enjoy recording videos and you might win contests with it!

May I give some additional help

Another good place to record computer videos is Hypercam, you can download it from Here

So you select a region, click and drag an area, then let go when you're done.

Also, I'd like to help by showing how to post it in the forum.

If you have a You-tube account, upload it if you know how, then copy the http:// adress and paste it into the forum

Like this: youtubecode.jpg

Then highlight it, and click the youtube button.
