Is there anywhere on this site eplanation what is DM, TDM or CTF? If it's not on site, why isn't it? On Playtanki site exist simple explanation: Deathmatch (DM) is the simplest Tanki Online game mode in terms of rules and basic tactics. In Deathmatch (DM) everyone plays for himself killing each other, trying to get maximum kills.

 

Obviosly, users dont know elementary stuff or they are just plainly stupid. I dont play DM, in fact, i played just 3 games. 2 Highland and one massacre when 3 thunders russian kids played as team against me. I spent too many drugs but i killed them all and manage to get second place. Last night I played 2012 NewYear map. After some times I was alone against two (again) russians players who played as team agains me. Ok, 600 min battle, I go on pause until someone comes. vadkodak joined and he also exit when they start to kill only him. Video clearly shows that they not killed each other while I'm on pause.

 

There must be some rule and appropriate penalty related with this matter.

I play DeathMatch a lot - in fact, 80% of the games I play are deathmatch, and the fact is that in a big deathmatch teaming is common. Most Thunders don't attack other thunders; most shafts have a mutual alliance; same with railguns, freezes, and ricochets. This combines to make deathmatch a very enjoyable way of playing the game. I personally enjoy the "teaming" in Deathmatches, although it can get annoying when there are too many ricochets/shafts/etc.

 

Even so, teaming is not against the rules and shouldn't be. As for any questions of multing, it's a deathmatch! There's no such thing as multing in a deathmatch, apart from where someone purposely dies for another person to kill them: but even that is basically non-existent. I personally think that if you are annoyed by teaming in a deathmatch: leave. I accept that you had a lot of kills, but teaming is what you should expect and is the norm in a deathmatch and AFAIK it is not against the rules at all. Of course, purposely dying for other people to get kills off you is against the rules: but I have never seen that, and I've played a lot of deathmatches.

There is just one problem. Im to old and I know how to interpetate rules. In my book, TDM is TEAM match. Playing DM as team is just for cowards kids who dont understand what is Fair play or they just dont know what is Honor.

 

P.S: I may be skilled as Chuck Norris but alone against 3 thunder... wow, its just so hard. But, im stubborn and I hate stupid kids so i just decided to kill them all, no matter how much that win cost me. :evil:

This can be controversial abit.... I seen many ppl in dm whereby marshals team together and gang bang on me (the noob) just to win the dm...Some ppl join just to collect the crystals in polygon with their hornets....

 

Another suggestion can be a new way of playing this game whereby few teams consisting of 2-3 players fight it out among themselves. That might solve this problem..

I agree with you.. But having teams is fun, right? Thunders with thunders is alright, but that you exclude people from your team is a bit going to far.

Well in a 3-people DM, teams are bad. In big ones like Polygons that are full me and my friend do team up and stuff to have fun..

I agree with blake here. Anyone who teams up in a DM with a low amount of players is limiting themselves and wont get the points that they could. If you are any good with your weapon and the terrain is not very open, you will spend more time destroying tanks than a teamed up player. A good railer with somewhat cover will win against those thunders, even if he dies a lot. Because he has three targets to pick off and they have to share one target between themselves :D

Hm, not ideal but I received explanation for DM match rules:

 

1) In most cases if few players in game start cooperation, others responce and balance achieved.

2) If balance will be lost then the players who are in cooperation go up in score slower then others, because they have too limited opportunities to get frags.

 

This comes from moderator but I dont wanna tell his name here becouse this is still unofficially. I need to hear here from some authorized person.

I completely agree with Lieutenant_Me. I think teaming up in DM should be against the rules! In my opinion, if people want to team up, they should play DTM!!

 

Okay, people teaming up in DM with only a few players, will increase in xp slowly but on the other hand, this can be an unfair advantage to the person on their own.
