Some Num-Lock & Alt symbols!

Please dont post stuff about how your computer can make more symbols, this is HOW to make the symbols, if i missed some, just tell me

 

 

This is how to make special symbols... look below!

 

Here's how to do it!

1) Turn ON Number Lock

2) Press Alt and keep it held

3) Press a number on the Keypad to the left side of the keyboard

4) let go of the alt once you have press a number

5) the Sybmol appears!

6) you can get up to 8 Diffrent symbols out of 1 number, if you tap it more than 7,8 or even 5 times then the same symbol will appear

7) here's how

 

Press 1:

Once with alt: ☺

Twice with alt: ♂

3 times with alt: o

4 times with alt: W

5 times with alt: g

6 times with alt: •

7 times with alt: G

 

Press 2:

Once with alt: ☻

Twice with alt: ▬

3 times with alt: Ì

4 times with alt: «

5 times with alt: ╬

6 times with alt: ♫

7 times with alt: Ä

 

Press 3:

Once with alt: ♥

Twice with alt: !

3 times with alt: M

4 times with alt: ♣

5 times with alt: 5 ( ironic! )

6 times with alt: § ( Simoleon sign, currency of the ''Sims'' game )

7 times with alt: ı

 

Press 4:

Once with alt: ♦

Twice with alt: ,

3 times with alt: ╝

4 times with alt:

5 times with alt: £

6 times with alt: ∟

7 times with alt: ∟ ( same...)

 

Press 5:

Once with alt: ♣

Twice with alt: 7

3 times with alt: +

4 times with alt: │

5 times with alt: ♥

6 times with alt: #

7 times with alt: c

 

Press 6:

Once with alt: ♠

Twice with alt: B

3 times with alt: Ü ( Pro smiley! xD )

4 times with alt: ◙ ( God knows what that is xD )

Twice with alt: M

3 times with alt: ○

Try Alt + 3232 for ಠ

 

Of course, it doesn't work on Tanki forum, but it works on my URL bar of Google Chrome! :D

Lol and wow!! On Mac, i just open "Character viewer" (system stuff). So easy, i dont need to remember any keycode combination. :mrgreen:

Windows has that too! ^_^ Its just called Character map, and people are too stupid to find it. :mrgreen:

That is the complete list, after 255 it re-starts and begins at 1 again. 256 = 1, 257 = 2, 258 = 3, etc.

?, what computer are you using, also remember to put on the NUM lock and HOLD alt and press the button THEN let go and it should come up!

WHAT COMPUTER ARE YOU USING?

if it isnt working then i might have said it wrong, but i dont get how it is not working for you... all you do is put hte NUM lock on, HOLD alt, press a button on the keypad TO THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE KEYBOARD and let go of alt and voila, something comes up like this

er... not really, i made this thread in a matter of 10 minuites xD, but im thankful that this thread is even still going, i just wanted to help peeps with there Forum Drawings and stuff...
