Cheating (In my opinion)

I've got a game-play complaint.

 

I know that game-players are very inventive, and can't always be blocked from 'cheating', but here are my observations after playing for a month (and reaching Warrant 3).

 

The CTF (unbalanced team) maps (following a game) seem to reset the new map, in accordance with the previous game.

E.g. If the game was 20 versus 2: the new game resets this - yet again to 20 versus 2.

 

This is an obvious cheat by 'clans, or unofficial 'groups' in order to raise their win rates.

 

I would like to suggest that if it is obvious that a concerted / organised set of players do this on a regular basis - then they are individually stripped of their personal rank.

 

I can not understand the option to allow 'unbalanced' teams in ANY scenario anyway - WHY is this an option?

Also, on a game reset - it should start from 0-0, with all re-entering, regardless of 'unbalanced'.

 

This is a flaw in the game settings, allowing organised members to cheat.

I do agree with you.

However, the more I learn about the TankiOnline the more I see, that the cheating is built into the game.

 

TankiOnline itself SELLS CHEATING tickets -- "Score Multiplyer Pass" for 1000 crystals.

The supplies are also kind of cheating tools -- using shield and a boost gives you 4x advantage over opponents -- so if a bank (fund) is large enough anybody or any group can rob it by just using enough supplies.

Is this a FAIR game -- NO.

This is an auction -- who pays more gets the fund.

 

Fair games (No Supplies) do cost etra money.

 

So, at the end -- if you dont pay to TankiOnline -- you loose.

 

And let me just quote the Rules of the Game:

... By winning battles, Players increase their rating and earn new ranks and crystals. ...

 

Tanki Online isn't merely an exciting online game. It's a community of people who share the same interests. We encourage mutual respect and politeness and strongly discourage offensive behavior and/or violating other users' rights. Tanki Online's Administrators reserve the right to limit users' communication abilities, lower their ratings, and/or block their accounts should they violate the game rules.

I say -- TankiOnline promises fair fights and community but instead has created environment for cheaters and earns on it. :evil:

 

If you agree with me, please spread a word.

 

At least until the NoSupplies battles are made for free.

Of course higher-rankers want it that way, keeping new players low.

 

The game is flawed - period.

 

Micky3 has stated what I wanted to state (all those months ago), but didn't due to the fact that I saw sooooo many bans for trivial 'offences'.

 

I've learned a lot more about TANKI since, and I have commented that this game IS Russian-based (with absolutely no laws that can affect what it does).

 

I HAVE also advised that if it cleaned it's act up - it could actually make more profit by acting honestly and banning hackers - all to no avail.

 

Well done Micky and I applaud Mizaree for using common-sense and not applying a 'knee-jerk' ban on Micky for 'breaking' an arbitrary rule.

 

I'm here for this game's sake (and we all know that there are better - out there), and the sooner that the owners clean it up - the better for everyone (sincerely).
