I started playing this game a year ago. I liked the game and since I have plenty of free time I decided to keep on playing. At that time players thanked and congratulated on a good game. There was almost no (real) buyers, mults and druggers. I played and enjoyed the game. The problems started around the summer and escalated (at least for me) around september. Too many buyers, the problem with 'infinite' drug in the garage and then I cut the hours of play. 24th August, I finally became a marshal. Now I just need to play for crystals and the garage, but the problem was how. I liked to play Tribute but there was no chance for normal game anymore. Almost always in game was some drugger ***** who ruined the game. Then I decided to play only Massacre. Less tactics and more killing and it's a map that I played these last few months.

 

No more fun, it's all about stupid gold boxes and who has more money to buy m3 soon as reach the appropriate rank. Takeover the funds, capturing flag without enemy, the entire team leaves the game after a gold box, saboteurs, mults, beggars, gold diggers... In my opinion, the arabs are the largest buyers and russians (of course, becouse most players are Russians) are mults and beggars. The worst is that the russians don’t want to speak english and if they speak usually use swear or insult (often even spelled wrong). When someone russian says to learn english ("выучи английский язык") often ask "зачем, он мне не нужен" ('why, I don't need that') or say that this is a russian game and I should learn russian. Well, dear russians, this game is on the Internet. Most of us on internet speak english and you're really bad hosts. You don't want (although I think that you are not capable) to learn and remember basic english phrases in the game. For the last 12 months I was called racists, yankee, NATO and even fascist. As soon as they see that I use english I’m an american. In my database I have over 700 mb of pictures that show the various insults from russian players and if I send them all to moderator or admin today no one would play here anymore. Also I have many snapshots on which you can see russian coward jumpers and self-destructors who take my right on righteous kill. It's dishonorable play without respect for honor in the game or fair play. Goal is to win at any cost, with brutal M3 buyers force, not tactics or skills. Too many players without brain or elementary school knowledge, especially mathematics. So many times they do drugs for fund which is much less then they spend on drugs. Stupid gold box is worst example. 'Look, mommy, i catch gold box! I just spend 2 full drugs packet on that but hey, i got it!'.

 

Punishment for mults, saboteurs or cheater (power-leveling for example) are ridiculous. For swearing or insult many users get severe bans (week, months), for posting unauthorized comment in Forum Complaints is week ban but morons who ruined game got just one day ban and their name listed on russian part of Forum 'ЛОГ: наказанные игроки'. Few english players get ban and penalty for be saboteurs often even without any notice or right to defend yourself. Even my name is on that list. I waited 3 days to get reply for what 'crime' I'm accused. I don't kill stupid marshal mult!. The most funniest thing for me, noob reporter coward jumper marshal gashetka in that time had three times worse rating than me (2686!!!).

 

Because of all this, even though that Americans bombed my country now I more hate russians but now, russians can hate me as much as they want if choose. I don’t care anymore.

 

However, I don’t want anything good to TankiOnline, and to rest of you who stay here wish all the best. You'll need it if you aren't a buyer.

 

P.S. I meet few good and honest russian players and just for them I'm sorry about harsh words against russians. All others don't deserve my apologies.

I agree! This game is going downhill fast with all the hacking for gold boxes and crystals as well. I started playing this game in the late summer and i have noticed that after the new years celebration, there have become 3 times as much hackers. I think that its really unfair when you are playing people your rank and they already have bought m3 freeze and viking when it was just unlocked at there rank (buyers). (I think that they get it from hacking) I hope that Something happens to where the game becomes more honest and there are less mults, beggers, and jumpers or 2.0 will change everything back. I totally agree with you. I so want to ditch this game, too many hackers and druggers spoil my games. I have lost thousands of crystals due to score hackers and druggers. Tanki Online is getting more and more hated by more and more people every day. These fail, inactive developers should actually make some protection against the hacks. And also, not all of these low ranks with fancy paints and M3 gear are buyers, some are crystal hackers. Every day, there is like 20 new complaints about Mults, Sabotagers and Hackers.

I agree about everything else. But keep in mind what it's game for a children, awful graphics, stupid gameplay. What do you want from this kind of game? :)

Lieutenant_Me, I agree 100% I am also thinking of quitting this game. I regret ever putting money in this game. Lately, I don't play near as much as I use to, but my main reason is the mods. I got banned 2 weeks ago by dingus for just talking in chat and the ban was for a week. The mods were also a big reason why I closed the 5th Tank Battalion. I get banned for any reason they can find, while I see the mod's friends get away with everything. They won't admit it, but it goes on. The mods are so out of focus its not even funny and the admin does nothing to solve this problem. If the mods would stop banning people in chat for accidentally having caps on or for other silly reasons and focus on getting the proof needed to ban these hackers and mults, this game would improve greatly in a short period of time.

 

The admins of Tanki need to stop and realize that online games who have admins that listen to their player's opinions are usually very successful, but those who ignore their player's opinions eventually fail. This is exactly how it starts. All the good players, especially the ones who put money into the game to keep it running, start leaving one by one. Before you know it, the game has no income and the number of players dwindles down to nothing.

 

Ill get banned for this post, but I really don't care. That's just the appreciation Tanki gives you for putting a lot of money in their game. Before the mods get ban happy, they need to stop and think about what more and more of the players are saying. It is a bigger problem than the mods or admin realize.

@OP: Goodbye. I personally have stuck with tanki for nearly two years now. I have been through hackers, spammers, and worse. This is by far not the worst spell of hacking I have ever seen: I am still able to join games without hackers; that was not the case at sometimes.

 

As per mults, buyers, and all that sort of thing, I see your point. For sure, multing should be given a more serious punishment IMHO. But buying is fair: this is a game, it needs money. Buyers are, and should continue to be, favoured by the administration. Like it or not, that's a fact of business. And it's a fact of this game as well. I am not a big buyer (Buying only 3000 would only be considered as a big buyer by the biggest noobs), but I enjoy this game and I have made friends here, which is the main thing which keeps me playing the game. Not the graphics or gameplay (although I do enjoy them), but my friends in the game who I have made.

I don't wanna to edit my original post but I forgot one thing: I spent 40$ for this game in first months. For Tanki this is just enough from me. I like to have original software, I have 9 original DVD game titles and over 40 various software appllications. People who made something usefull worth to be payed, I paid for Tanki but this game become worse every single day.

This guy above... not true. The drugs are not fair gameplay. The most STUPID IDIOTIC thing is that you have to PAY to get away from them. It's a 1/20 chance to get no supplies pass in a bonus! and who would want to pay 50 crystals so they can ENTER a game without drugs. This is one of the lamest things about it.

The other is tanki 2.0, they said June 4th, then they failed.. Ok.. but I was expecting a few months later they would complete it... BUT NO... its over half a year now since the release-fail came.

 

Russians, we don't insult them. They insult us. About 100 times a day, I always see the cy** word said. They say many other words also. And they always yell in capitals.

 

The moderation is now becoming fail. They let hackers be free 70% of the time, by saying "Not enough proof" or something.

I am not talking about the moderation. I am talking about the gameplay, how drugs can control a game, and how m3 tanks are so powerful and "the only thing that matters". As per moderation, the mods have their reasons, valid or invalid, and I'm pretty sure they do not favour buyers - but neither should they. Immaturity and rule breaking is immaturity and rule breaking, whoever does it.

Maybe, once in a blue moon you'll see a moderator going on a "ban-spree" and the main reason for that is to show that he has done some work and collect mod payment. Favoritism is another issue plaguing the english section. The english forum remains untouched for weeks specially the complaints one. It's just astonishing to see how neglected the english section is with just 3 mods, who are missing most of the time. Good Job tanki admins. Keep up the good work!

If this conversation is moving onto moderation, I will add my two cents here: favouritism does occur, yes. But the fact is that favouritism has to have had a source. Let me give you an example:

 

-Once, I insulted one of the moderators publicly, stating in no uncertain terms he was not up to the job. Unsurprisingly, I got a ban, which was for a day. That was fair, because it was my first ever serious ban, and it was a punishment deserving of the crime. Whilst it was annoying, it was fair.

 

-However, I returned and I immediately posted a long topic, which would undoubtedly stir controversy. I knew it would: to make it clear, it was a complaint against one of the rules. That is not against the rules and does not deserve a ban: however, the same moderator who I had insulted the day before came in and gave me a week ban. This was an unfair ban. I still hold to it. It was such an unfair ban that when I got it I laughed for five straight minutes at the ban.

 

However, looking back, I earnt that moderator's "favoritism". Because I had insulted him, then he was obviously going to be more "touchy" towards any crime that I committed, and that came clear when he provided me with my week ban. Unfair ban it was, but my actions previously had built up so that I would obviously be more seriously punished from that moderator later on. With hindsight, my post was foolish and asking for the ban. Whilst I still maintain that what I did did not deserve the ban, I had built my own favoritism with the mods, and in my case it was against me. The moderator's decisions do not look so foolish now. It was a bad decision, but if you brought into account the fact that I had been expressly saying he was useless the day before, it wasn't such a stupid decision.

 

Personally, this is the same as what goes on now. People complain in public about the moderators, say their useless, say that their corrupt, and then go on to complain about "favoritism". I mean, yes the bans may not be that fair. But what can you expect when you go about all the time stating the moderators are useless? Isn't that asking for the ban to come?

Well, it's obvious moderating isn't as easy job by any means. However, with the power to judge other people's actions comes great responsibility; the responsibility to be impartial and fair to all players. Imagine a soccer game, will be it OK for a referee to be easy on a player with whom he has had a couple of drinks?! Absolutely not. He will come under great scrutiny and if he continues to do so, he will be demoted. Now, I know you have been a victim of favoritism, rather "unfavoritism" in your case but being accepting it as a reality doesn't make it right.

 

You won't believe, I found a mod openly violating game laws. I informed an admin about it and that thing was taken off quietly; without any punishments. However, if it had been some other person, he/she would have been slapped with a week's ban for doing the same thing. Well, its a harsh reality and accepting the way it is will be the biggest act of cowardice. I personally feel that english administration needs a massive restructuring. Its old, monopolized and stinks of power hungry people.

Perhaps the only thing I'll take part in, on this topic. But, Punishments given to moderators aren't made public unless they are entirely stripped of their rights.

Well, I did try to help once by reporting that Tommy60 called Snyper22 a pedophile, but I got banned instead for posting a link. The ban was for a week. I would apply for mod to help, but I've been banned so many times for idiotic reasons, there is no way they would consider letting me be mod. Anyway, why bother trying to help the mods we have now? They are too busy nitpicking chat and handing out ridiculous bans. They need to focus more on banning the real offenders (hackers, mults, etc), but if I try to report that, I'm more likely to get a ban than the real offender.

 

You can sit there and call me a troll or a pain in the rear, but the fact of the matter is that what I say is the honest truth.
