Better combo for a "rookie"

I've got a Railgun M0, a Twins M0, a Firebird M0 and a Smoky M2 for guns

And a Wasp M0 and a Hunter M2 for hulls...

 

I've been prefering the Hunter M2 with the Railgun or the Smoky since I like to hit from afar in team games.

 

What should I improve or buy in Your opinion?

Go for M3 Smoky and M3 Warrant Officer 1; you can make your own choices, then.

if you like to hit from afar, then railgun for sure. but keep in mind that if you want to play in small stages, like deck 9, hill, etc. you should use firebird, twins, (freeze later on down the road)

I have used railgun in Deck-9 and Hill many times.It depends on your skill of using the weapon.Example:for me,I use rail at every single map because im skilled with it.I tested my skills on every single weapon.In the end,I found railgun the best for me.So its your skill. :)
