On behalf of the "Tanki Online" team I hurry to explain to you the situation with the accounts that were blocked during the operation to detect "players using third-party software" cheats.

To date, we have conducted a series of additional tests, leading to the perfection of the latest release. As a result of these checks, some accounts were unblocked.

It should be noted that there was no cause for panic related to the work of "anti-cheat" and it should not be because system is calibrated and is now working smoothly.

Thank you for your explanation. I think, helpdesk should inform us. Support and mail comunication is very poor, now! You should improve it.

 

I'm going to test my account on GoogleChrome, now. On Maxthon it works without rejecting of me. I hope, that works on GoogleChrome, too.

If I find a problem, I write these here. (I hope you don't block me, again.)

I will use fire fox now. But with antivirus and anti-spyware actived.

 

I play only sometimes , but I login everyday to get the items :)

 

People say about hackers , saying there are some hackers, but in 1 year or more playing this game , I saw only 1 hacker ; A tankman was attacking us using firebird, he was inside a house and we couldn´t attack him.

As you probably already know, today we launched the anti-cheat mechanism to minimize the possibility of using third-party software in the game "Tanki Online." Make sure you do not play using any of that software if you don't want to lose your account!

At the moment we are still setting parameters so that cheaters are blocked automatically. We plan to complete the work early next week.

We apologize for any inconvenience.

Is there any chance of a table that describes what the 'anti-cheat' measures have attempted to combat?

 

Better that TANKI has a forum that officially recognises a type of cheat that IS happening, with a 'spreadsheet-like' table with tick-boxes where TANKI has amended code in an attempt to stop a type of cheat (and maybe another symbol that states that a particular cheat is being investigated).

 

This will give TANKI players confidence in the fact that something is being done to combat these dishonest, low-life, scum (probably living on social hand-outs).

 

The same forum should also have a table of blocked players - with reasons for being blocked.

 

This way, many players know of a player name that has secondary accounts, and can inform MODS so that secondary accounts can be watched closely and blocked also.

 

Display the culprits and allow the players to name and shame.

Yes, let's start a little civil war on this forum, shall we? Have you ever seen Battlestar: Galactica? There are these humans, and they are these robots, named Cylons. And Cylons look human. So the humans start accusing each other of being Cylons.

 

Same principle here. Fights will break out as people lose trust in each other. People start accusing others of being hackers, and subsequently the forum will destabilize, and only a burnt out hulk will be left, with mods valiantly but fruitlessly trying to save the forum from large scale fights.

I found the number of hackers GREATLY reduced and may be actually able to play this game again.

although I'm sure there's still a few hackers are lingering around
