Ideas for Game Modes!

He want's to switch it off for all in the battle

- Today: even if you go to settings and switch off the "show drop locations", you still see the goldbox locations on the battlefield

- His request: to hide all locations (supplies and goldbox drops) not via an individual setting, but for _all_ tanks participating in his pro-battle

 

ps:

- even if you have supply drop locations not displayed, 80% of all tankers above the leutenand ranks know them by heart. But I think it would be really cool for goldboxes. Although most people will dislike him for this proposal :p

Also, im one of those people who dislike his idea, though i never dislike people based on their ideas

 

 

but i do end up judging people when they say things like "MAKE PLANES AND DRONES AND GRENADES AND GETING OUT OF TANK AND DOUBLE TURRETS AND SUBMARIES AND PLANES AND MINING AND INFINITE DAMAGE BOXES AND TANKS WITH 100 SPEED AND.....ect." or i guess if they just make a horrid idea as they never even thought about it at all.

       Before Tanki Developers changed the economics and stat systems, light and medium tanks could go to 100 speed and some much faster

Well im guessing that all the hulls were the same in relation to each other as they are now, so i doubt that wasp went over 10x faster than it does now.

I have a plan for a new type of battle for players that have the rank of "Captain" or higher. The battle is called "M0 Deathmatch" (M0DM). This type of battle consists of one player who is ranked "Captain" or higher. The player, regardless of the player's rank, creates an "M0 Deathmatch" battle that consists of a leader who is captain of the battle.

 

Then, the player can invite tankers who have any M0 turret and hull into this battle. Players kill one another like in the regular "Deathmatch" (DM) battle and the "Captain" receives double crystal fund for each kill, whilst M0s receive normal battle fund.

 

However, any M0 tanker who destroys the "Captain" will receive a kill bonus for that kill.

 

The "Captain" can use any combination of upgrades, including, M0, M1, M2 and M3 turrets and hulls.

 

No premium account is needed for this type of battle, except, for customizing the battle's time.

 

The "Captain" of the battle who created it can customize the battle setting for paints, turrets and hulls he wishes players to use, or he can choose to allow all paints, turrets, and hulls.

The crystal fund should be reversed. You are playing with a captain who will almost certainly destroy you time and time again and probably use drugs so won't die. 

 

I'm sorry, but this is nothing more than a turkey shoot for the M0s. This is a very poor idea.

OK. The crystal fund should be reserved, like you said, and if the "Captain" does not get destroyed at all, then, the "Captain" would get a bonus for staying alive during the entire battle without dying.

Tanki Online does not have a survival mode and it needs one.

 

In "survival" mode, players can create battle that are only "Deathmatch" and "Team Deathmatch". In this type of battle players can destroy an unlimited number of opponent and there is no time limit or countdown.

 

Here the battle finishes if each of the players gets killed 1000 times.

 

The number of times you get killed is displayed at the bottom of the screen, just like in "Deathmatch" and "Team Deathmatch".

 

In survival mode, players earn 10 XP points and 10 crystals in the battle fund.

Yes. That would be very interesting for players to have an "Adventure" and "Creative" mode. Your idea is excellent. If you have more ideas on battle modes please let me know. Thank you.

In "Adventure" mode players can go on an adventure that they follow step by step. They progress till the end and get experience and crystals for completing every adventure step.

You can already create a PRO battle for 999 kills or 999 minutes, which is more than enough time/kills for one match. Your idea is not much different to the existing TDM and DM modes, besides it doesn't make sense to give players a goal in the form of reaching a certain number of deaths. In Tanki (and in most other games) you have to try and kill as many as you can and die as little as you can, not the other way around.

 

Your other topic was hidden, since you already posted it here, which is where all similar ideas should be - not in separate topics. And if you want to make some changes - you edit the existing post, not create a new one.

 

Please follow the Ideas and Suggestions section rules, as you keep violating them despite numerous warnings. Next instance of such flood will likely result in a ban. If you are unsure about whether your idea follows the rules or not - you can send it to me in PM first and I will tell you if it's OK to post or not. There should be a battle mode where tanker race along a circular track and shoot each other just like in "Burning' Rubber" series.

 

The battle would consist of 24 players to take part in a race and kill one another to gain higher places.

 

Of course, when you get killed you fall behind and lose lots of places but their is still hope to catch up.

 

Depending on the players ranks their would earn a certain amount of crystals for their positions.

 

The top 3 places would reward players with a bronze, silver and gold trophy plus a crystal bonus award for earning the trophy on the top 3 places.

I am not very keen on this type of idea but I believe that having a battle mode where players get to cross checkpoints would be a new experience for tankers to enjoy in Tanki Online.

We all want new battle modes. However, we are preparing towards TankiX. 

There might be new mode's in TankiX, surly not when its released, but afterwards.  

I like the way you think though  ^_^

I do not like this idea or the idea of a race. We have already had a similar idea which was in for a short time. It was removed after some events in 2011.

​Assault was not your idea. Like i said before, the other 4 are either gamemodes which i find pointless or simply do not make sense for this game.

I still stand by my Payload idea where a player on the red team is selected to carry a bomb on a Mammoth with an energy shield that can block projectiles is escorted into the enemy base.

It would go well with maps like Noise, Monte Carlo, and any other map with a basic pathway and not many shortcuts.

The shield is what replaces the Mammoth's turret and can be moved like one, but cannot block Isida, Firevird, or Freeze attacks.

It also can be shattered if too much force is put onto it, but repairs itself after a few minutes.

If the Mammoth is destroyed, unless they come up with a checkpoint system or something, the game ends.

Im generally not the kind of guy who just says bad things(im also feeling a bit lazy right now to make an even bigger post)....but these were already basically responded too.....and MAFlOS0 said not to spam or break the topic rules...also said to use edit button. I havnt rly read this topic's rules( i havent been warned yet so im figuring im doing good), but i think you should so your not banned or anything...its for your own good....

Also, pls avoid "Creative Mode" and things like that, or an idea that just kinda doesent really fit well with how th game is....if tanki forums had a dislike button, i bet youd have more than youd like..... Before you postan "Idea", pls ask yourself if you can already basically do if, and how it would effect the game/ will its really be popular at all.... if you cant answer one of those questions, dont post it until you do- if you cant allready do it, it effects game nicely, and it would be fairly popular- or com up with a different idea, dont just rephrase one of your other ones.

 

I know devs dont really look at this...but pretend that they do and try to think from their perspective.

 

 

Unrealated note:

 

 

Heres my"idea", and I very much hope a dev reads this and considers it, as this could really help tanki and tankix with updates, and haveing less people complain/less need to change an update; have a dev or someone in contact with devs and know what they are working on post in this topic sometimes and say what the next update will be, or will probebly be, this way our ideas will be related to what your working on and you can incorporate some and get feedback from more players before the update is even out. A dev could post a rough draft idea here and we players could chisle it down some and shaoe it a bit, then devs can create something they are more confinate in. Test servers with testers arent really the best things to do, as there probebly isnt enough people, and the testers may have their opinions leaning a certain way. Plus, devs or testers are probebly better at tanki than many players, so while the game could be balence for a even team of skilled players, teams that are a mix of skilled and noobish will not be the same. Plus, kits, buyers, and just other ranks in general can ruin a game. Even just the tieming of people joining will effect it. If there are 50 ppl in a server that has only 3 games, most of the battles will be unfair in team sizes and also skill most likely. My point is that Tanki would be much much btter if it communicated more with its players about upcoming updates.

ok so here is an idea that i have been thinking about: Laser Tag

On each team there can be only 1 isida, and there are not to be any drugs unless previously understood, 

every tank other than the isida is to have either railgun/shaft,

there may also for tournaments, 2 refs, they will have on holiday paint, and they should not be killed or aimed at.

2nd, You may respawn, but there will not be flags, there can be variations on this

Such as:

TDM Laser tag, 

DM Laser tag,

CTF Laser tag,

CP laser tag i dont really think it will work,

but with the maps, you have to have sniping spots, and places to run around and hopefully not get shot. also, a game mechanic i think should be added comes into play here with shaft:

If you hit a tank on the sides you only get so many points, if you hit it on the front or back you get more or less depending on which way the tank is facing, and thus you get armor points on the sides and you lose less health if you are hit on the side than on the front. Also if you manage to hit a tank with railgun, the tank should drop "coins" as if it were to have some kind of "bank" inside of it, and if you pick these "coins" up then you get points for your team

So xp/bp with shaft and isida too? Also, there cant be refs... that makes no sence at all if you think about it. What would they do in the first place exept get in the way? The "coins" idea is new...but...meh. Again, no point in them. Haveing only a specific number of certain turrets is way too organized unless its a clan war/tornament or a training. I do like how you would get less points for hitting the sides, and more for the front and back though. It would be cool if devs added that to the game in general.

Cancel gravity

Replace Skybox with a perimeter grid (builds a cubicle around the area)

Include floating obstacles

replace tracks with turbine engines

add pitch control and roll control (see picture)

 

-> enjoy a full 3D tank-space-combat arcade fun :)
