Give full reasons to ur answer!  ;)

U can use ur own imagination and even create ur own story of how the chicken was made or the egg was made! :D

Take as much time as u want as this question's answer is really hard!

I haven't posted my answer as right now I am thinking lol.

It can be also chicken as an animal might have evolved to a chicken and it can also be the egg because 2 birds may have breeded together and the mother bird might have took out a chicken egg!  :P

Good luck!  ;)

the chicken because if the chicken did not be created first then who would have fertilized the egg in-order for the egg to hatch? who would have taken care of the egg?

Answer is here...

And those animals were not so dumb who could not care for their eggs. Even dinosaurs had took care for their eggs. :)

None. Depends on what you can call an egg, then apply it in this situation, then see if u can call that thing an egg before being able to call that animal a chicken.

I'd say the egg, for the following reason. Lets imagine, that over millions of years there is an evolving species of birds, which will one day become what we today would consider a chicken. So, genetically, this bird will gradually become more similar to a chicken, until, one day, it lays an egg with slightly evolved genes, which would finally form what we would consider a chicken. So this egg hatches to become a chicken. Therefore, I would say the egg came first.

This is just my opinion though. I think my path of logic makes sense to some degree.  ;)

A rooster is needed to fertilize the egg.

This question can only be answered in what a person believes in. Creation or evolution.

I personally believe in creation, so the chicken came first.

Way back two birds that were not chickens created a mutant egg, which we call a chicken today. When we talk in terms of chicken, then mutant egg came first. This mutant egg came from two birds that were not chickens. This mutant bird went on to bread with the rest of these birds which produced many more mutants we call chickens today!

Scientifically speaking, the egg came first.

I thought science showed that the chicken came first. I saw it on National Geographic and I think they said that the chicken came first because a special protein necessary for the formation of the egg, can be found in chickens.  :P

I remember the Evolution topic debate, and it NEVER ENDED. Let me say that again, IT NEVER ENDED.

I can see this topic doing the same thing, I can't wait for all the long texts.

its always the egg unless its easter and then its the coco bean: -

for what is now known as a chicken it evolved gradually over hundreds of thousands of years the  evolutionary  bit takes place when the next generation is formed so the next generation is the egg.

Just as we evolved from the primordial ooze and today share  96% of the same DNA as a blade of grass
