Hello tankers and welcome to yet another Top Ten Tanki list! This time we'll take a look at the greatest of Tanki's rebels that just won't play by the rules. Those that make heads turn towards them as they do what they're best at. Those that bring an unusual source of entertainment for those around them. These are the Top Ten Tanki Thuglife moments!

 

10. Moderator thuglife

Forum moderators love closing topics. Unlike the reporters, this is the only fun they have so they utilize it as much as possible. However, sometimes it's just not meant to be and people (such as DarkOperative) have to get the last word in. There also reports of some lucky players able to achieve this, however their posts are unfortunately hidden. Additionally, I don't even have to mention the hilarious replies from Hazel-Rah.

 

 

9. Down, but not out

Flipping is one of the most annoying things in Tanki. You're basically sitting there occupying space for 10 seconds until you commit suicide out of boredom. However, there's a slim chance that you may stay awesome if you mined in the correct place. Since you're flipped, the enemy won't suspect that a mine is laying somewhere nearby and will get a nasty surprise. Then you can just act as if you planned the whole thing out ten moves ahead just to get to this point, as well as post "Deal with it" in the chat.

 

8. Low on gear, full on spirit

Not everyone can afford high end gear and countless supplies to play Tanki. We have to spare a moment to remember the players who survive the harsh battlefield with only the bare minimum of equipment. However, some of these heroes take it a step further and manage not only to survive, but to dominate the war. There's nothing more amusing than seeing druggers getting beat by someone with m1/m2 gear and I guess they have to have a bit of thuglife in their blood to perform such a task.

 

7. Between time and space

Laws of physics are nice and all, but a true thuglife enthusiast can manage to get away with breaking even the fundamental rules of nature. It's a mystery on how this can be achieved, but I'm pretty sure you have to be a I3anter prodigy to manage it.

 

6. Don't mind me

This one's sort of a mystery, too. There are numerous reports of a DM mine casually dropping by to CTF games, which I've also been a witness of. No one quite knows the mine's motives, but there are speculations that it might've lost its owner or even that it's the mine of Godmode_ON who accidentally wandered into a CTF map one day instead of the classic Polygon DM. It has also instigated confusion among newcomers:
"Is that mine?"
"No, it's a mine"
"Yours?"
"No, mine"
"That's what I just said..."

 

5. Breaking the rank limit

Rank limits are limitations, and limits are made for you to overcome. So, what's wrong with overcoming them in Tanki? In theory, you can even rank up twice above the rank limit. However, this is limited by your ability to play and rank quickly enough. So, unless you have limitless time, chances are pretty limited that you can break the limit by more than one rank.

 

4. I3anter squad stays together

Usually battles have a player limit (again with the limits...) in order to keep things fair. However, certain players have so much banter in them that even Tanki can't keep them apart. Thus we have plenty of reports of a 5 person Sandbox game. Needless to say, it provides a great source of fun when it happens as well as causing confusion and panic for the opposing team.

 

3. Oh, you want a Goldbox? How about it falls just after the battle is finished?

This is just annoying. There are also events where a Gold falls after the game is finished. Seriously, you cap the last flag and get that notification, how does that even work? I've had it happen to me only twice so far, but that's two times too many. The Goldbox should be nice to everyone, dropping 5 times per battle, giving you free crystals and gently stroking your hair in your dreams while you sleep. A cruel, nasty, horrible joke like this really shouldn't be tolerated. Who knew Goldboxes could be thugs?

2. Stack up the score

Classic. You've got to love that feeling of joining a new battle and randomly getting a score boost from the Tanki gods. There are of course accusations of cheating and hacking, but you don't care. You're top of the scoreboard before a bullet was fired, this must be a sign that you're destined to do great things, a sign that you're the chosen one, the one to lead your team to victory! Or maybe it's just a glitch, but yea... pick what sounds better.

 

1. Not finishing an article, but keeping the job

Flipping has another thug charachter : In CP modes , especially Polygon map , you can be flipped in the "downstairs" but you still make your contribute in point and enemies dont have their mind to you . :)

I have seen 2. not once but twice! That was in my early career and both times happenned to that guy in espalande CTF(or DM idk) once he joined he got 83 kills! and when the battle finnished and restarted it happened to him again! He said he had really bad internet so most like it wasn't the "tanki gods"(though it sounds better than bad internet :P)
