2015 events rare - answered!

Hi!

Many of you already seem frustrated since there's a really rare amount of events this year (sales, mu discounts, no speed ups, x2 battle funds) well this is because developers have recorded too many events last year so they've decided to cancel that this year like a small punishment, its so that we would get used to it rather then only get used to sales each week.

That's a total of 33 events this year, aren't you happy guys? A sale on garage equiment or anything in the garage are meant to be at least once a month, this means 12 discounts, this year is not yet finished and you got so much. In fact this is super small amount and its a look for everyone, you getting punished and still get a lot of good and still not happy - why not at least look at the last years discounts, its too many so had to use a spoiler.

97 Discounts, crystal sales, fund raises, etc where recorded by me - I missed about few so about 100 there were last year.

From the spoiler above, you would of seem 97 discounts etc events happened last year, it broke the economy I believe in tanki and everyone just got too used to it so now all that has being cancelled and x3 minuses.

I hope the proof will help the whining players to get what actually happened last year and how it has effected this years amount of events.

You work for Tanki or you are closely affiliated to them?

I think there is a bad feeling at the moment among a lot of players but it's not all down to the greedy ungrateful players.

At the end of the day it is becoming a trust issue, players are just starting to distrust tanki.

The fallout from the recent event is just people having an opportunity to express their dissatisfaction as a whole on a platform that they will be seen and not tucked away in the back pages of the forum.

It was a lot, but amount of double funds was a lot as in when i was copying the links and doing some stuff I saw at least 10 double fund for 24 hours...

I work for community, I try making the things easier depending on how depressed the situation is. Tankers day is a big kaos so I saw what semyon said, researched it, comes up his words are right but not enough to make tankers happy so here is my topic :)

That means, on an average, there was a sale after every 4 days..:o...

Now that would ofc ruin the economy...

Well not all where discounts but many did bring in a lot of crystals for players, doesn't count the sales for crystal buying but garage equipment and double funds.

Dude did you even read the topic? So you saying 40% is useless sale? I hope you didn't spend a single crystal this sale cause otherwise your words don't make sense if you bought something this sale on cheaper means this sale wasn't useless ;)

You might be right wrong but still sales being rare is good on other hand since you get more time to save up crystals ;)

That literally has no logic at all...

the issue is people have been waiting too long just to be dissapointed.. Well, thats just one issue.

It won't be logically to have sales all the time. Where's the logic that you want to say? Issue is that people got used to sales etc stuff going on every month so now everyone has no patients at all cause before the sales where every month.

but Tanki just keeps getting better ;)

Just coz we are 'recent' players, doesn't mean that we don't know anything about the past...we(at least I) read and hence know quite a lot about the history of TO...

Things have changed since then....

TO needs to adopt itself to the changing world...do you think that you would be playing TO till today, if it was the same as the old one....i know remembering makes you feel it as 'good' days...but I can guarantee you that TO would have closed by now, if it was the same even today..

The whole economy has changed now...TO has a greater staff today(I mean those who work there in real life, not the helpers here)..this is the very essence of its growth...

Do you think that they have a money plant to pay off all of them?

We are having good sales...be thankful for it...

Coz I very well remember..my previous games gave a sale in 3-4 months...and that too were of 5% - 10%...we receive 40% sales, 5x battle funds...what else do you want mate?

And for those who say TO supports buyers:

I have player a hell lot of games before I came to TO...do you know the main reason for me leaving those games? They supported buyers...and I, being a non-buyer, could not even survive there...it was like...just their 'touch' would kill me...

And here, in TO...even after being a non-buyer, I am at a good position...i can still defeat a few buyers....this ofc means that TO is fair to all...

Changes are made to keep in pace with changing world...that is the reason why we have new players who join the game everyday...the games develops every now and then....and that definitely brings new fun for us..directly it indirectly.. but it does....

I agree on the fact that sales will get weaker, but with the new update on getting M3 announced on vlog, equipment will get eventually cheaper at sales. (You save crystals from m0-M2)

I now expect 30% to 40% at Christmas/New Year Day sale.

I can go look up what was in the 2012-13 :) In 2012 there was other prizes for garage equipment etc right? And no micro upgrades right? Its rude to judge people when they join and they don't know what was in past, they can always look it up like with the world war. Semyon said in one of the v logs every 2nd hull in tanki is hornet, hornet had 50% off sale few weeks ago. I thought that was a useless sale, but you can judge as you want. You probably one of the people that got too used to sales happening often and now you against tanki making sales rare cause you used to them being on every month.

40% off sale will be good with the new update since you ll buy lets say mammoth m3 for this prize and you didn't buy m1 or m2 mammoth, so you would still save a lot then the 10% that they cutted off
