    • @TheCongoSpider  Calling it a "reshuffled parameter" or a "relative buff" is a massive stretch to justify a clear performance downgrade, and it completely ignores how a match actually plays out in reality. First, SBE didn't get "buffed" just because the base Shaft arcade became worse. That’s like saying a broken leg is a buff because the other person broke both legs.. The turret as a whole was slowed down, which inherently hurts SBE’s viability. Furthermore, comparing Shaft's arcade reload to Thunder’s 2 seconds ignores basic mechanics. Thunder has splash damage, excellent horizontal tracking and aggressive mobility.. Shaft in arcade mode has none of that. Let's look at the brutal reality on the battlefield.. if any other turret gets within half a meter of me, I am already dead. While I am stuck waiting for that slow reload, the enemy has already blasted me twice with weapons that deal far more consistent damage. Even when my shot finally reloads, a Shaft arcade hit deals a pathetic damage.. 👉 Against modern, mobile hulls, that is literally just a scratch.  By making SBE an "Excelsior-lite" and a "must-pick," the developers didn't add variety; they destroyed choice. It is not a buff, it's a desperate crutch. Players are forced to use it just to make the turret semi-functional, while still being turned into target practice for every aggressive player on the map. Try playing Shaft on the front lines against an aggressive hull before calling this a "relative buff" from the safety of the garage.
    • Please add the old button back. Do you realize that clicking the current button could easily lead to the event page by mistake? Or are you doing this on purpose?
    • Nothing even changed with Short Band Emitters. It just had reshuffled parameters to keep the reload the same as Thunder (2 seconds). In fact SBE got a relative buff because other Shaft arcade firing rates became worse. SBE in that patch became Excelsior-lite and even more of a must-pick for anyone picking up Shaft from the garage.
    • its based on time left in battle (and not how much time you have been in battle). 2 base stars time frame is around 6 min left (i dont know the exact value). Also remember, how long the battle itself lasts only determines the MAXIMUM POSSIBLE amount of base stars that CAN BE earned, and not the actual stars you get. Actual amount of stars you get depends upon your score and position on leaderboard e.g. if battle lasts atleast 11 mins (max possible stars that can be earned is 3 for such battles) only top 3 gets 3 base stars, next few positions get only 2 base stars, and last few positions with score above 100 get just 1 base star, and those with score less than 100 get 0 base stars. add 1 more star to all of them (except 0 for less than 100 ones) for quick join bonus, and 2x that if premium active   so, if you join battle thats already near end in time, but your score is less than 100, you get 0 stars (not even quick match bonus). but if you manage to get score quickly and get into top 3 in your team, despite playing for just last few minutes only, you get 3 base stars (+1 if Quick match option) (thats hard to do when little time is left and your team players have score lead over you).
    • ls it based on the time of the battIe or the time one is in that battIe? My teamates had accumuIated a Iot kiIIs, so l don´t think it was short enough to warrant 1 Base Star. l mean, l understand how it works now, but l think 2 Base Stars shouId have a larger timeframe. l heIped the one sided battIe end sooner instead of joining the spawn kiIIing, and l feeI Iike l was punished for that.
