I rarely take the time to comment here, but I will always insist that the aiming system for Magnum needs to go and is to blame for its downfall. Yes, Magnum needed a nerf, but the recent changes it has undergone are for the worse. I believe that the reason Magnum was so toxic to face was because it required no skill for anyone to use. With it, you could get direct hits on anyone while completely staying out of their attack ranges, and repeatedly apply annoying status effects as well. Thanks to the aiming system, it took no effort to do this. Now, after the nerfs to Magnum, the only thing that has changed is the strength factor. You can still directly hit anyone from any range with absolutely zero skill required but can't deal as much power per shot. So now, you deal less damage and cannot capitalize whenever you apply the occasional status effect due to the slow firing rate. Against someone who has full protection against it, status Magnums are unplayable. People may celebrate, but for players (like me) who love the potential that Magnum could have and hate the brainless behavior it still currently encourages, this turret will always remain in the bottom tier until something changes for the better. So, on this low note, here is how I would have liked to see the Magnum issue addressed. First, I would have liked to see the aiming system removed, so it actually requires a nonzero level of effort to deal damage. And secondly, I would have liked to see the status effect radius decreased back to direct hits only, and have status effects be guaranteed on direct hits only. These changes would make Magnum a higher-skilled, higher-paying turret, and most importantly, keep it balanced (not trash, and especially not broken). However, it is clear that not everyone's intentions are to bring out the game's potential and maintain balance for all. But, if you at least gave this a read, I appreciate you. ?2 points

It's all been said and the game just keeps getting worse with every single update they bring out. Players comments have no standing and never will, at least not with the important issues that affect game play. The game is cheap, but they expect you to pay top dollar for it, never going to happen, not from me.2 points

Not sure if it really matters, with the amounts of bundles, challenges, elite passes, challenge accepted and other events in place. They have plenty of money sink backups that will reel in a bit from players nonetheless. I'm sure a bunch of players are waitin for the snow trap event too, which is usually paywalled. Wasp IC potential this year unless they move it towards an elite pass.1 point

Well first, I'm disappointed in the Rico status nerf. That was the only guaranteed-status method that required skill of some sort, and it's gone now. Thankfully I have Helios because Rico is my only Mk8 turret right now. They also just destroyed RRE with that splash radius nerf1 point

I wasn't able to take part in the fund last year. ? Its not worth it if we have to spend nearly 100 million tankoins or make 50 thousand accounts to buy the small bundle that many times just to complete the fund. Why should I bother improving my skills in a game that doesn't even work properly? If the funds aren't all about the rewards, then what's the true purpose of them? Well the devs should've made small increases like adding 5 more slots each time until it was perfect rather than just adding an outrageous 30 more tiers. Ironically, in an effort to make more money, they have demotivated the players into buying the fund, which means they'll make less money now and going forward.1 point

The minimum splash damage % is what changed. EN patch had a typo. You'd also have to take into account the changes to Stock. The main one that would be affecting Vacuum Shell was the change of Stock's maximum splash damage radius from 1m to 2m. The previous Vacuum Shell was 720 base damage with 1, 10, 12 --> 100, 250, 50 splash distribution. The new Vacuum Shell is 675 base damage with 2, 9, 12 --> 100, 250, 250 splash distribution. If you're comparing the current Vacuum to the previous one, then it is damage nerf if the target is between direct hit and 10m away from the hit, and a damage buff if the target is between 10m and 12m from the hit. Looking at the current version by itself, this one allows you 3m of grace distance to deal the current highest damage possible. Position yourself right and you should be able to see the same high damage number multiple times instead of the number constantly changing like previously.1 point

I kept the rules to a minimum back then and it was perfect. People did their thing, had fun, got club support as soon as it seemed right, and Official status was just the game's way of saying "you're doing great, you've contributed so much to the community and we appreciate you ". Everything was simple and good, at least outside the minds of people who overcomplicated things (like those who pressured people to make commentated videos like ToT to get a paint). By the way, dear club leaders and members, I want you to know that when the rules are crossing a line, you can stand up for what matters to you. The way I saw it as a club leader, the rule makers write their vision on paper, but we're the ones deciding what actually happens. When they wrote that players can't be members in more than one club, they put some other value above my desire to play with my friends and do what I want with them, so my friends and I just ignored the rule, and the admins did nothing about it. When the rules said Official clubs can't have club members that were banned in the past, I said I'd rather reject the Official status than abandon a friend, and despite keeping the rule, the admins did not enforce it. When people told me to make commentated videos like ToT to get a paint, I stuck to my values and said that I'd rather make the videos I want than give it up just for a paint. If you feel like the way the Official status is set up right now makes it lose it's value, or pushes you to do something you'd rather not, like creating lots of short or low effort videos to reach the top level of club support faster (which is required to become Official), you can do what I would have done: Reject the Official status and stick to playing the game in a way that doesn't take the fun and satisfaction out of it. Don't apply for Official status, and publicly state why you don't do it. Don't rush to make 30 short videos, and say that the requirements for support force you to choose between getting more supplies/spectators and making the videos you want to make. Some of the rules and requirements are ridiculous, in fact so ridiculous that I was able to write a parody about them before they were published (not that reading the parody made any difference in the administration's choice about the rules), maybe I'll post it here later, for now here's a little taste:1 point

Tanki Online is getting better graphicswise, but is getting worse in pay-to-win. So sad. If too many players are dropping out from the game, and in forums, Tanki Online will die in the same way as Tanki X did. Tanki Online could be dead within 2024, if the player drop continues.0 points
