Show me a definition of science which says that science is not limited by formulas and the physical universe. Science is the study of the physical universe. That's what science is. I enjoy science, it's one of my favourite subjects. It's not poor or simple. But science is the study of this physical universe. In the same way that English is the study of the English language. Or History being the study of historical events. Science is the study of the physical universe. No, they weren't formulas. I agree. But they were limited by the forces of the physical universe. Science is the study of this physical universe, what we can feel, what we can sense, what is bound by the formulas that operate in this universe. Other subjects are just as interesting. But they aren't science. When you study English, you read authors and you think "When did this author live? What was the culture like? What important events happened then?". You study it, and you are interested in it. But what you are studying is history, not English. In the same way, just because you get interested in something because of science doesn't make that science.

I disagree. That would be going against the whole concept of science. Science is only what we can measure and feel in this world. Definition of science from Oxford dictionary: "The intellectual and practical activity encompassing the systematic study of the structure and behavior of the physical and natural world through observation and experiment" From wikipedia: "Science (from Latin scientia, meaning "knowledge") is a systematic enterprise that builds and organizes knowledge in the form of testable explanations and predictions about the universe. From Collins: "the systematic study of the nature and behaviour of the material and physical universe, based on observation, experiment, and measurement, and the formulation of laws to describe these facts in general terms" To sum up: Science is what we can measure with experiments in this physical world. Anything else is not science. All those questions were philosophical.

This is because the newspaper is a representative of the Administration. To be honest, reporters and editors should have ironed out all mistakes before the articles are published. The editors can also check to make sure that there is no false information/information critical of the administration. I think that once on the Russian side, a Russian reporter edited their article after it was published to include something not permitted by the reporters' rules. After this, it is a rule that we cannot edit any article after publication just to be sure no wrong material gets into the paper.

.png and .jpg do not support animation, like orangelight said. Only .gifs can be animated. When you save animated pictures, save it as a gif.

I'm not saying that this wasn't right, I'm just saying from my own experience. I'm not saying that the cybersport teams are not to blame. By the way, could it be possible for the TIMES as well as the dates of the upcoming clan championship battles to be announced in advance to the public, please?

Having been out of the clan leaders' chat for a while, I don't know about recently, but when I was in there, a lot of the leaders (me included) were not intent on getting times and dates out to the cybersport team. I'm not saying that the DJs are perfect, but I'm saying that the argument should work both ways. There should be a rule that a clan war is only official in a championship if the contest organiser/cybersport leader is notified (probably through an online form, so that there is no requirement for them to be online to get the notification) or something. It'd save the cybersport commentators from not knowing when the clan battles will be taking place. I mean, the Wolf Battles are streamed most days, and how many people are interested in that? It just shows that if the times are announced way in advance, the cybersport team may be able to stream more battles.

Surely then the best thing to do would be to PM supernick to add these pictures to this thread rather than creating an entire new thread about it?

Thanks... Hopefully next issue's predictions will be as good as last time around's. :) I'm not planning to do monthly updates on the results for next year's predictions. As they are not serious predictions, but predictions made in jest, I won't seriously analyse my predictions. I may just take a look back at them at the end of next year, like I did here. The newspaper tends to come out towards the end of each month. We have no set date. This issue was seriously delayed due to a number of different things, it may happen again next issue - but hopefully not. Thanks a lot!
