Hello, i'm gojoe but my real name is Max. I get overly insulted everyday because im DEAF. Deaf means that I can't hear at all. This sucks for me because I get bullied for being deaf and I have no control over it. Moderators don't notice it because they don't know i'm deaf. Now I hope that some how someday tanki can make it so people know i'm deaf. If your deaf out there well PM let's become good friends. Enough Moderators? Ever wondered if Tanki has too many moderators?Or to little? Well, right now Tanki is hiring about ten more moderators. But some concern has been put through talking about players getting banned for no reason. According to officials you must send complaints to help@tankionline.com. So many players complain about false players. The factor is-is that when a player says something good they always put things like “awesomeeeeeeee” then they get banned for flood. Players really need to watch what they say and how they say it. Some players write insult’s and don’t get banned sometimes, that’s not good so we tend to go and fight that person verbally. That’s when that player gets banned. If that happens, that’s not a false ban. If you ever get caught in an honest false report take a screen picture. (If you don’t know how look in the forum.) But sometimes the moderator might ban you, and you didn’t do anything. This normally happens when a moderator’s best “Tanki friend” says “ban him.” The most common way of getting banned is both profanity and flood. Don’t flood. Do we have enough moderators on Tanki? Well, that’s up to officials. Some players believe that there is more than enough and then there is some players who think they need a lot more! If tanki didn’t want to hire more, they should talk to the moderators they already have. They should talk to them about being more alert. You should keep in mind that you yourself can report someone by writing /vote name in the chat bar. If you ever encounter someone who says they’re a moderator, open another tab and go on www.tankiforum.com from there go to “rules” and click on staff. Then you should have a list of the staff on tanki. Before you start Tanki you should read the rules of chatting such as: Impersonating a moderator Flood Profanity Ignoring complaints And more. These rules are what you must follow if you don’t officials will see you and ban you. Rules are Rules. Remember if you see a rule breaking player chatting say bad things, simply write /vote name. If you think you are worthy and meet the requirements you should apply to be a chat or forum moderator. If you don’t meet the requirement you can try but you probably won’t be picked. If you have a question ask a moderator, reporter (news), consultant, announcer, and I’m sure you’ll get answered. The best way to get answers too is to go on the forum. Obey the rules and you won’t get caught. NOTE: If you apply to have a job read the requirements, fill out the application form. Normally you will have to skype tanki. They will confirm the age you are. Now officials are saying they need more moderators. Moderators play a very important role in Tanki Online. They make sure they forums and the chats are safe chats and forums. When you want to apply for a job you should say if you have a background in that field. There are many jobs on Tanki Online. Jobs are: Chat moderator Forum moderator Consultant Reporter Announcer Admins These jobs play a very important role in the game, but that brings us back to the question do we have enough moderators? Lots of players say yes and lots say no. The reason some say yes there is enough is probably because they get banned lots. Then that makes them feel like there are way too many moderators because every day they end up getting mad. But for the people who never get banned but get cyber bullied (see forum topic: cyber-bullying by wikigoo_forumz) they feel that too many players get off the hook in the chat/forums. This can also make players mad. Some players have posted ideas such as this: Player has been banned for a day. Reason: Cyber-Bullying READ Rules ____... Player has been banned for a day. Reason: Bullying READ rules ____... Do we have enough moderators? Lots of players agree that “Player has been banned for a day. Reason: Cyber-Bullying READ Rules ____...” makes the most sense. Officials have fought back saying that they do ban cyber-bully’s, and they do. But one player really stood out saying “Well you certainly have missed a lot of calls. All you guys do is say profanity and flood and nothing else! Saying their cyber-bullying will make them feel worse forcing them to stop.” Of course players will keep fighting for this “banning code.” Question is do we have enough moderators?
