    I experienced the exact same here, you hardly will find me agreeing with md but in this case he is just right and this gets serious annoying and takes away all fun of the game.

    This info is pre-re-balance so nice but right now of not too much use at all. Mines have been changed! Do we know if Nitro was changed yet? (I always thought it gives double speed as well, like double armor and double power... but speed is not as easy to measure here) Lets hope he/she/they update this site soon, it is pretty nicely done! About this thread: It seems that Titan is the better choice for middle ranks and specially at m1 and m2 but in the end (m3 so far) Mammoth regains it superiority at high end drug battles! (i will get one i think)

    Range to damage ratio of thunder

    If you really want long range... there is Rail and Shaft, Thunder and Smokey lose both 50% at latest 80m (which is also the range of m3 rico which is called a mid range weapon) but the two mentioned before dont... So if long range means for you to shoot someone from one end to the other in Gallery... Rail, if it means to kill someone quick in Sandbox... Thunder ;) :tank:

    Hello, I am sure this is somewhere (prolly on the russian forum) but I could not find it here so far: What are the distances and dimension on the maps? How long is the apron in Sandbox? How long is the bridge in Kungur? etc etc etc... Thanks for any useful replies :)

    100 as it is stated on the box (which i didnt catch in the screenshot, was too excited that nobody killed my m0 wasp without having any armor to apply... The Crystals you see there are what I earned in the game till this including 100... I did not spend any at that point yet but play with m0 wasp + m0 smokey and not too bad actually though the thunders with their 2 shot kills are a pita.
  7. I tested a bit more and sadly had to learn that also the damage of the Critical Hit gets reduced up to 50% :(

OK, I tested a bit with the smokey m0(blue) and m1(green) I have available right now: Always vs a wasp m0 I went to Gallery to have a map with decent distance, drove up and stood both wasps at the end of the map to shoot each others: M0 smokey needed 7 hits to kill m0 wasp from that distance. Which means 65/7 ~9hp damage which is like 50% of smokey m0 damage (17-21) All pictures (but the 2nd here) show the health of the wasp after the first hit. First hit: 2nd hit: Smokey m1 needed 5 hits here so 65/5 = 13hp again about 50% of its damage (23-28) Here I drove one arch closer (still 7 hits): Next I drove one tank one bow closer and did the same... with the same result... 7 hits needed to kill the wasp m0. So my conclusion so far... smokey damaged gets reduced over distance but stays at 50% at any distance (not sure what is much farer than I tested here). From battle experience I know that thunder loses earlier and more its damage (in Sandal or Sandbox I beat thunders at maximum distance but get owned when they do full damage) Full Damage happens still at this Distance: Here damage is lost to 5 hits to kill so 65/5 about 13hp ~75% : Well, I cant tell how much meter distance this all is but at one point smokey starts to lose damage from 100% down to 50% to the next point... where these are guess yourself IF this changes (like twins and rico) for higher modifications I havent discovered yet and hope that we get soon this info from testers or devs. Thanks, Otto_I :tank:

Have to disagree a bit on Smokey which has no range limit and is so no middle range weapon but also far range where thunder loses its damage starting at somewhere 60m to 120m (That's how it was pre-re-balancing at least and I still see the damage going lower at distance) and you cannot really call it a long distance weapon, middle to far maximum.

    I see well... nice for this chart and as I said before thanks a lot for that... Just not actual realistic and very plain statistics (this is no critic just want to point out some other facts) Specially 3 guns are hard to "judge" correctly here: Smokey, because the critical damage is random and if happens crushes any statistic. Railgun and Shaft: If they get the first shot done together with you they get in the first moment very far ahead in damage and before you can make up you are prolly dead already (Railgun with up to 166hp in 1 shot and Shaft 214) Also missing here is the fact that Freeze and Firebird can damage more than 1 tank at once (which isida cant) and of course the freeze effect. And dont forget the healing of isida which might help just to get a flag home for your team-mate. Anyway, just some additional thoughts to all this, thanks again for these stats A.E. This helps for sure to choose on paints (like Mammy doesnt seem to need rico protection but twins!)

  14. This turns out to be harder than doing Dictator or wasp Rail battles before... Since the rebalance I managed to find 1battle where not half was M3 killing of the m0 wasp with single Thunder shots or alike. That 1 battle was Island and only for generalissmo.... Every Sandbox battle labeled "M0, no paints" I join is full of smart people who think it is fun to destroy m0 wasps easily. like here for example: or here:

    awesome work mate, thanks a lot for this, well done! +10 :tank: But I wonder how you calculate this: Cause Critical Damage is total random for each shot so you can have it twice in a row or not at all at 20 shots...

    OK, time to say something i guess... Where did you list the disadvantages again or did you forget that somehow ;) ? OK, undenieable you got a point here. Mostly you try to find a positive point here besides tanki gets money for nothing from players who pay what are they lazy to do... BUT... I do have a good point about buying experience as you may need just the next rank for a weapon you want and cannot reach it before the current discount period ends... here I agree to buy experience is a good thing. Else it is money making. Careful what you buy people... things might just change a way you dont like then again!!!! We get this told since the first mention of reblance... But it is just a try to rectify the new higher prices... Because when I had before the best possible version of a gun and the best possible hull... and now I cannot have it without paying at least 50% more... this is making things more expensive, nothing else. The old M3 inferior to the new ones? Tell that the shaft fans who could kill any tank without paint but Mammoth m3 in 1 shot but now have to look for hornets and wasps for that. The arent superior because they have more power because they have to deal with stronger tanks, too. Ricochet used to have 18 shots till reload now it has 11... stronger now?... Why can a Generalissimo go into battle with a WO5 then at all if there is no need for that? Pre-Re-Balance the WO5 could play with M3 Dictator and M3 Rail with a Marshal and the same tank... impossible now! More balanced now right? Can quote myself here cause this is the same as 5. and 6. Sure it has become a much longer run as everybody needs longer to get the tank she/he wants... You said earlier that all weapons are combative at the same modification now, right? Hmmmmm so lets say I love smokey... I am a Major (1 red star with underline) so I can have Smokey m1 at this point to use with my loved wasp m1 and you say I can seriously compete with another Major who uses M3 Hornet (faster and stronger than my wasp m1) with M2 thunder that kills me in max 2 shots? Well, no really but you want me to buy anything on my way from recruit to Generalissimo to be able to compete at any stage... Sure can kill but can beat? This is the same as he met a buying 2nd Lieutenant earlier with M3 and paint garage... of course "can kill" but seriously cant beat in a whole battle. Finally some real advice ;) Well so... call it Re-Balance as things were balanced new... but this has soo many flaws in it I hope I dont regret any buy I will do next sale.     Actually his question is valid because some do not seem that much more powerful than they cost more.. at least not from what the garage tells us... like smokey m2 to m3 cost you over 30,000 crystals do to 1 hp more damage each shot...

  20. thousand thanks kool but why is this not posted on the tanki forum where it belongs but on your personal blog? And some additional info would be awesome, too, like: what range does smokey have (or endless) and how much damage does the critical hit actually do?, same about range for thunder and its splash damage. Freeze used to have 100% damage up to 15m and lower from 15-20m ... as its range changed, did this change, too? Ricochet has on the test server only 11 shots until it needs reloading (right now in 1.10x it is 18!) (Though it says in the garage for m3 120 shots/m right now and 119 after re-balance i didnt count that out myself yet but seems not right?... and in most cases the difference from m1 to m2 is way more far than from m2 to m3 (ok the price is like 9 times from m1 to m2 and only 2-3 times from m2 to m3 but... that means often close to 20,000 crystals here!) Like smokey goes from 23-28 at 6% and 32.3 shot/m at m1 (1100 Crystals) to 28-35 at 7% and 36.6 shots/m at m2 (11480 Crystals) but to m3 it is 29-36 at 8% and 38.7 shots/m but cost extra 26860 crystals all these interesting little things that the garage doesnt show but someone did put together for the current tanki game on this forum.

    If you read and looked at my post you should see that I am very much aware that this was on the Test server (I extra included the full url in the screenshot cause of that!) My point here is mainly to show that what you get for your m3 stuff and what you will need to get it back... A Marshal with a a full M3 garage gets 171,345 Crystals back (paints excluded here) Now you will be able to buy for 171,345 Crystals: Wasp (33150), Hunter (33880), Titan (34050), Firebird (37680) and Thunder (33590) (all M3 again of course) which is 172,350 great deal isnt it? Hurray to re-balance !!!

    I have strangly no fps lag at all in these maps just the normal lag outs when over 10 players but ... why doesnt have Crash any supply drops at all? and Gallery they seem to lag so bad sailing down that they are about to vanish again once they hit the ground:

    learn the map so you dont get lost... N2O and ricochet with hornet m3 and a bit luck lets you jump with a somersault up there ;)

    I really like Crash a lot so far just miss any free supply drops there at all Gallery does have supply drops but they drop so freaking slow down that they already start to blink before they even hit the ground and are just very short time to catch before they vanish again.
