I find it very strange that you dont mention the disdain shown to the players by the game devs and the company in general. Perhaps you may have a vested interest? Players have left due to the rise in cost of the game and the constant changes. Be that the many many failed rebalances, introduction of new guns, turrets and paints: that always incur an additional payment uplift. So yes, a self inflicted decreased quality of product at ever inflated prices is why people have voted with their feet. It has nothing at all to do with the old tech or the move to Unity. Do you really buy into the party line the people in Perm feed you, or are you that deluded by your own reckoning? Yet one more in a long line of faux 'in the know' hired help, toeing the line for his 12 pieces of silver.

So you think that a loss of 60k daily players year on year is due to a lack of marketing?

What are your thoughts on the fact that daily playing numbers have fallen 50% in the last year? Do you have any explanation as to why half the amount of people now play Tanki on a daily basis?

a re-balance that actually works.

I was a map maker (highways). There are so many reasons why this game has got worse and the fact that in the last 6 months a quarter of the players have quit. For my part, and I believe for many others - its because of the constant ability of the devs to try every trick in the book to squeeze every last $ from buyers. For example: When ever a major re-balance or en mass introduction of new turrets/paints occurs a full refund on crystals should take place, allowing players to re buy what items they want. The cost of buying has come down drastically in price over the years due to free deals and bonus etc. Its not the cost, its the underhand un-fair way the game is slanted. People are not stupid. Keep on cheating them and they walk away. On top of that we have had many major changes in gameplay, re-balances, new turrets and paints. Due to this the game hardly resembles what it was, even a year back. So in my opinion its the financial implications and gameplay thats changed a LOT for the worse, that have resulted in the drastic loss of players. Players are sick of being messed about by the devs. I predicted this decrease in players numbers to the devs 7 months or so back when they introduced (then changed their mind) the smart cooldowns.I also suggested that it wouldnt be unlike the devs to bring back the smart cooldown, yet with an underhand cost. As we know they were brought back but you must now buy a 'Pro pass' to play in or create a fully supplied battle. This is the type of underhand financial extortion I mentioned above.... Its been said by myself, and others many times. The tragedy is that Tanki devs now look at how they can change the game to make money first, then they look at the gameplay as the second item on the agenda. even if thats true. i wouldnt like it if 33% of my paying customers or otherwise quit. i also wouldnt be happy if a member of my 'staff' was being smug about it either... carry on with the well thought out comments kev, or perhaps save them for the schoolyard.

when the smart cooldowns were released it was funny to see all the noob crystal collectors laughing at the druggers. saying it doesnt require skill to drug and now the game will be for skillful players only. always forgetting its the buyers that pay for your freeloading! well then, these same players now crying that they cant sit around collecting crystals all day like the freeloaders they are. no skill required doing that is there? :lol: so now to gain free crystals you must play with skill :) keep on crying about the loss of free drops. karma is a wonderful thing :lol:

you dont have a clue whats going to happen or not :P but the 15 seconds should be put back for Pro battles full drug mode....

hard core druggers dont care about drops too much ;) it cant be costed into the equation.... same goes for the price of the battle pass. Still its now a LOT more expensive to play full drug battles (than before SC), with the extra cost of drugs per min and the cost of buying the pass per month. its just that buyers wont care too much about this as long as the game option for full drugging is there. i dont know how long you have been playing or how much you take note of any updates in the game, but: when SC was released the amount of time drugs last was cut by 15 seconds :) this has basically increased the cost of drugging constantly by around 30%. that said, when i first started playing tanki there were no DC cards and discounts came along once or twice a year if you were lucky. there were no free crystals or kits either. so by that reckoning drugs have become VERY cheap in comparison.... Still, i for one like my costs out front. not hidden away in a sneaky manner :)

guys try writing well thought out points and argue them with facts. this is what the devs are looking for. they are starting to take note of valid opinions - not childish spamming.
