It seems you never play rail+wasp battles. Sometimes wasp(60hp) stay alive after railgun's direct shot. So there is nothing strange in your case.

freeze ftw. imho there is no better paint for hornet then prodigi. Isidas is not problem for freeze. So you choise is replace 30% railgun resistance to 20% freeze, or make your gun 30% more effective! I would say save your money. Ricochet pwn only after second modification. Freeze rather effective even m0. Test it, but try do not upgrade secondary gun while primary is not m3.
