Right now we already have XT HD and "normal" XT skins, this specific Smoky would be a one-off exception called "XT-LC" ... but it could be called anything, it's just a way to get it back in the game for good.

I have a simple suggestion that I'm surprised hasn't been implemented yet, given the number of LC skins we've had over the years. Since Vulcan LC was taken from its old prototype, it's reasonable to assume that the Devs have access to the original resources or can recreate them accurately. So why not introduce the original Smoky XT as a skin in the game? It would just be a harmless cosmetic option. You could add it to a minigame or something. It would be a nice nod to the old times. Here's a couple of reference images just in case

Yes but at least the Zeus skins were okay looking, basically XTs that used to kill your framerate with effects. GT hulls are absurd, toy-looking things that not even a 10 year old would like. And GT turrets are low effort scams (yes, scams, because finding one of them in a Skin Container should NOT be a thing) that even the Devs acknowledge.

Bolter is one of the few Augments I am looking forward to trying out if it drops from a Container. May I ask why do you find it underwhelming? Also, @Opex-Rah Is there any further tuning planned for Isida in terms of its healing rate? (See: Support Nanobots in particular.)

Not gonna lie, the more I hear about Classic, the less interested I am to try it out. It just seems like a watered version of the current game. I thought the idea behind the whole thing was to relive the original experience and feel of the game, but ODs, augments, even new mechanics? LC Isida tied to vampire nanobots?

The Devs were smart. They gave out the special gift only a few days ago and knew it would encourage almost anyone to participate in the fund. So why have 20+ tiers and hand out tons of free rewards? They limited it to just 12 tiers, making it appear less bloated. The result is that the players are happy, they spend all their rubies, and the only things handed out are a couple of augments (soon to be nerfed) and a skin container. And not a single one of you noticed. I bet some of you thought the Devs learned from the last funds that were a "failure," huh? (Again, those funds weren't a failure at all, at least not for them.)

I guess being on this platform for almost 15 years does not make me a loyal fan, my wallet does. Too bad, I won't support the project until I see the result with my own eyes. And if I don't like some of the features such as ODs or Augments, then my wallet will continue to be closed and I will continue to not be a loyal fan.

Not quite true. LC Skins were the actual Turrets and Hulls we used to play with as standard equipment. The "new" Vulcan is a prototype design that eventually turned into Ricochet because the technology to actually make a machine-gun style turret was not ready at the time. In fact, you can even see that its shape predates Ricochet.

Sometimes I tell myself I miss this game, but then I read the patch notes and remember why I quit in the first place. I'm sure the devs themselves are against the aimbot, but since the playerbase is already ridiculously small, they can't afford to lose their mobile players, and so their hand is forced. Of course, the small playerbase is mostly their fault, and the argument that the game is over 10 years old does not stand up. The fault lies with their monetization practices, their decision to target a younger and younger audience, and most importantly, a complete lack of direction and inspiration. Every change I've seen in the last few years has been made because "oh look, this feature is cool in game X, let's add it", resulting in a hodgepodge of brainless nonsense. The ones who succeed are the innovators, the ones who follow their own ideas, not the cheap imitators.
