Alexander Krpovich, the CEO of AlternativaPlatform, with his friends Anton Volkov and Micheal Yesutin, have been developing games for ages. They were the members of the company called GROV, i am not sure if spelled it right. Back in DOS they started their friendship and career. The formed the company AlternativaPlatform just about 6 years ago i think, and started ruling over flash 3D world by writing the 3D engine. At the start of 2008, they started to step in actual game industry by doing the beta tests on tankionline. At June 2008 the project went to public beta. The idea was to show the world how their 3D engine and their own java written servers are capable of practical gaming. This project, was the first ever real multiplayer online 3D game in the history of flash. Browser gaming change forever with tankionline. There have been other massively multiplayer browser games, but none were based on flash player.

You'd be surprised, but Iran has areas where it snows regularly. They also have ski resorts ;) Yes, only in Tehran, we have 3 ski resorts, one of witch is the biggest in middle east. (Shemshak, شمشک).

We have loads of snow here. Actually Tehran, went into holiday for a whole week and the city was offline because of snow! And about deserts: They have very high temperature at summers, and very cold at winters.

Where do you live? it matters. I live in iran, and my government weakens access to servers. so i use a vpn connection to solve it.

I am waiting for the new year, tanks will go crazy and they will shoot out colour paper and snow and candy like last year! there will also be 1000 crystal boxes at the new year minute!
