Acceptable for me, if those games are epic :P Besides, I have pretty much the same options for games. Kool, kindly admit that the entire tanki population does not only consist of you. Just because you're happy to have the choice of 9 games instead of 50+, doesn't mean the rest of us are satisfied. In fact, you're one of the only ones who actually has anything positive to say about this update.

I think there isn't a need for this update. Players can automatically create a battle with certain rank requirements. Therefore it's up to the creator on what quality of battle he would like to play. As I said before in another thread, how does this help tanki's franchise? It hurts it, because: 1. Referrals. This update means people probably can't play with their real friends whom they've introduced. If you are a newbie to this game, obviously for the first several times you play you'd want to play with your friend right? Now that that isn't a possibility, the attractiveness of tanki to newcomers is decreased. 2. Cybersports. How would Mosquito battles go if this update was in place then?

As tankionline is a franchise and business, an update such as this rank change only stands to decrease their profit because: 1. Referrals. What makes tanki grow? Players introducing the game to their friends of course. People introduced to the game will naturally only come for the first couple times if they have a chance to play with their own friends. Unfortunately, there is a fat chance a player bringing friends in is more than seven ranks above recruit. Therefore, the attractiveness is reduced to newcomers. 2. Events and cybersports: Mosquito battles, for example, wouldn't be nearly as successful as it was if only allowing a span of seven ranks. Clan wars are disrupted. Tournaments as well. By making this update, tanki is only threatening to hamper the growing English community.

chriswu I don't think there should be ANY changes to the rank limits. The old system was better. If people complain about pros stealing the hard earned funds of lower ranks, then the creators of the game have the ability to fix that by making the rank limits to the game narrower. Tanki does NOT need to make it a set rule that games can span only 7 ranks. They can leave it up to the players.

1. What does narrowing the rank limits have to do with cosmonauts? 2. What does narrowing the rank limits do to help people in clans or with friends who they've introduced to tanki and are at a different rank level? Now we can't play together anymore?
