  1. I would like to see the epic models presented in the "Before and After" take the place of the simplistic ones of 1.100.00

Just wondering, is there an updated version of Tankviewer 2.0 that includes all the models?

  6. Well, I understand you've been hating for a while, in IC's forum thread, etc. Take your trolling somewhere else. If you don't like serials, why don't you say so? And btw, this is the last of this particular series, which I wanted to wrap up. If you haven't realized, I wrote two "all you needs" this issue, in order to do that. I apologize for any redundancy. Next issue will have new subject matter.

Congrats on becoming a consultant...you sound so smart all of a sudden!!! But seriously...there is no difference, and I'm sure many can agree with me that "giving objects a clear appearance" is overrated when it comes to sacrificing detail. I know what "ready" means, I just don't know what it means in this context. How are players going to "get ready" for hardware support?

Some comments I have about the recent video blog, concerning the new graphics... Well, kudos for imagination...I really don't see the difference between a "drawing" and a "cartoon". My criticism stands. What does "ready" mean?? :?

Pictures from german forum about 1.100

This is just pathetic... I love the design concepts, but the graphics are just soooo sad. What a disappointment. If the tanks and guns were to be installed in the current 1.0 graphics, I'd be much happier. I mean seriously....what the heck!?! How on earth can anyone think that wooden crates look better than the current gold/diamond boxes?! That's insane! I WAS LOOKING FORWARD TO THESE!!!:
  11. It's like some book about marriage and raising kids, ok?

[Issue 5] All You Need To Be a Pro - Community

Since the initial release of this series, I’ve encountered a bit of criticism concerning its name: “All You Need To Be A Pro”. Dear readers, trolls, and critics: let’s be honest. We all know that to be a recognized, respected and valuable member of this community, it takes much more than an expensive garage. There is more to “being pro” than simply having “pro” equipment. But, as most things in life are, “pro” is a relative term. There’s the element of skill (i.e. being able to adroitly maneuver one’s tank, having the ability to outwit an opponent, etc.), but how much you "up your game" is entirely up to how much you play, practice, or an innate knack for pc or video gaming that you just “have”. For the sake of simplicity and to avoid redundancy, I’ll focus on the social component one must possess in order to excel in this online community. This will involve recommended software, programs, and any behavioral advice I can give, having spent a lot of time getting to know players. Behavior: Why People Do What They Do There are 3 things that everyone seeks, one way or another, to achieve in a community. Three things that are the impetus for everything that anyone ever does, anywhere, whether it be in your social life, tanki, or around any group of people. These three things fall conveniently under the acronym: “ABC”. They are: 1. Acceptance 2. Belonging 3. Competence These three things build one’s self esteem. It is the need for acceptance in a troll infested community, for example, that causes Contaminated to post those horribly offensive/hilariously funny memes. It is the sense of belonging that makes clan members ceaselessly hunt for a blacklisted player. It’s the need for competence that drives the noob to drug just to capture the last flag in a game of worthless fund. As you can see, common behaviors people exhibit, more often than not, spring from these three fundamental needs. What’s the moral of this story? My advice is to realise that Tankionline, as brilliant and expansive as it is, is merely a game where kids, adults, teens, and even seniors come to kill some time, make some online friends, and have fun. Don’t take the game too seriously. Don’t pound your fists at the mindless mult, or the teammate who captured the flag that should have been yours. As bizarre as it may sound, remember that your life and identity is so much more than how you perform in your daily battles (and, well, if it isn’t, perhaps you should change that :P). It is truly a wonderful experience to be part of something with players from different ethnic and cultural backgrounds, and to share defeats and victories with them. In a nutshell? Try, but don’t try too hard. Ironically, a person who tries LESS to be noticed is usually the one to be respected. Resources Having knowledge and resources at your disposal can greatly help portray the image you’d like people to see of you. These resources I speak of range from software editing programs, useful applications created by players, to general abilities and common sense about creating forum posts. Off the top of my head, some things you may want to learn, if you haven’t already, are: how to take screenshots, how to edit and caption screenshots, how to post screenshots, free image hosting websites, how to screen videos, how to edit videos, post videos, create and use a youtube channel, you to use skype, including voice and video functions, how to create a xat chatbox, how to embed a chatbox, how to install tankviewer, how to use tankviewer, how to install tankstestingtool, how to use tankstestingtool, and how to create a free website. Phew! Try saying all that in one breath! :P I’m sure I’ve named only a few of the many resources and free, useful tools that are available to esteemed tankmen readers like you. You will be amazed at the positive effects you’ll get from other members of the community if you can draw from these resources. For example, a neat clan topic with even MEDIOCRE artistic images will greatly enhance the interest and support you receive. If you have a lousy image and sloppy, disarrayed text, you will almost undoubtedly get a facepalm image from one of the community trolls (seeking, as you should remember, acceptance by fellow members in their trolling society). On a side note, not all criticism is bad. The degree of facepalming you get will alert you as to how much improvement you need. A simple “*facepalm*” isn’t all that bad; you’ve got only a bit of housecleaning to do. A Captain Picard facepalm is a bit worse. But dear reader, if you ever, God forbid, get a GODZILLA facepalm, you have some serious work to do. As we all know, “when godzilla gives you the facepalm, you know the fail is epic.”

[Issue 5] All You Need To Be a Pro - Hulls

What good is a powerful Ŧlค๓єtђг๏ฬєг without a good mount to carry it? How useful can a heavy artillery tank be without sufficient hitpoints? Hulls are the body of your tank. While weapons typically should be chosen first when determining one’s tank configuration, the hulls are the definers of one’s playing style. For instance, a player with a тнυη∂єя may choose to equip with a ๓ค๓๓๏tђ and be a heavy defender, or, one may decide to be a fast and furious attacker, and go with нσяηєт. Despite having the same weapons, these two players have drastically different playing styles and strategies. This is just one example of how the hull you choose will define what kind of player you will be. Now onto some basic descriptions, recommendations, and advice: Wasp - The light, maneuverable default tank. Every tankman has no doubt had some experience using a wasp. While it is small and relatively weak, wasp has a surprising number of applications, in and outside of the battlefield. In lower tier battles, wasp can be a valuable sprinter and attacker. Typically paired with smoky, wasp’s agility and small size allow for excellent guerilla warfare: peeking around corners, shooting, then dashing back to safety. In addition to its abilities as a guerilla tank, wasp is also good for more experienced tankmen who like to participate in cybersport and other activities. Why is this little hull so charming? I don’t really know, but wasp has been the select hull of many events, like Wasp Rail tournaments, Mosquito Battles, Parkour, and Tankiada. Perhaps this hull has been a favorite because of its small size, and the unique results one gets when pairing it with Railgun, for example. The recoil from the gun can easily knock this little hull over! Hunter - The versatile, tier 1 tank. Because of its mid-range speed, hunter can both defend or attack. Relatively agile, but large enough to support various guns, hunter will provide a stable platform for any weapons you desire. Flexibility in playing strategy is always important, and so I highly recommend buying and upgrading it to at least m2 sometime while you are below Master Sergeant (for a complete list of ranks, click here: http://forum.tankionline.com/posts/list/1151.page). Titan - the rolling fortress of tier 1. While Titan is largely popular in lower tier battles due to its cheap, yet large amount of health, it’s practically nonexistent in high ranking battles. Although it is a durable, good tank for dominating first tier battles, from personal experience, I don’t think it’s a worthwhile investment for a novice tankman. Dictator - A first scoop into the upper tier. Speedy and agile, but with a relatively large mass and health, dictator is an excellent transition from tier 1 into tier 2. In addition to its good price/performance ratio, dictator, like wasp, has also been favored in official clan tournaments and cybersport activities. Hornet - the fastest tank in the game. Hornet is a great tank for those who love parkour, stunts, and daring, audacious attacks. Quick and agile, hornet has reasonable hitpoints in a sleek package. Pair this chassis with ricochet, thunder, or freeze for a light assault tank: Perfect for making quick raids or darting through gaps in the enemy’s defenses. I would recommend, however, that players investing in it upgrade it to m3. Lower modification levels are too easily destroyed. Viking - A stable, multi purpose tank. If hunter is the versatile platform for tier 1, then viking is no doubt its tier 2 counterpart. Good with any weapon, viking is a staple in high ranking battles - rarely will you find a battle without a plethora of vikings. So popular is this hull, that in my opinion, it has become somewhat of an icon in tanki. Billboards, blog posts, and homepage videos swarm with this versatile, durable, and stable chassis, and its popularity is well earned. Mammoth - The hulking, formidable flagship of all tanks. Mammoths were large, elephantine creatures inhabiting primeval earth. Massive in stature, these creatures possessed tremendous strength and stamina. Fitting, it seems, for the strongest hull in the game. While slow, mammoths make up for their inefficiency in speed with a great amount of hitpoints. It’s large mass and health allow the user to battle multiple tanks, outlasting them in durability. Tanks equipped with mammoth make excellent defenders, and can also provide the brunt of an attack force. A word of recommendation, though. If you bother purchasing this hull, plan on upgrading it to at least m2. M1s and under are uselessly slow, and easily taken down by experienced vikings or skilled hornets. So that’s it, tankmen! I have taught you about paint selection, given you advice on what weapon is your best fit, and advice and information about hulls. With a little bit of luck, and a lot of persistence, you will no doubt earn/buy your way to perfection. Choose a combination, and stick with it; don’t go halfway with anything. Once you solidify your skills with one combination, you may use your spare crystals to experiment and have fun with others. Play, and enjoy your games. *More Images Coming*

    Finding a clan.

Sorry, but you have to rank a lot more before you will reach the minimum requirement of any clan.
