Player chriswu has been banned forever. Reason: He's just too cool, but it's mostly because of his pure awesomeness in general. ~chriswalky

Not to be racist or anything, but the only holidays celebrated are obscure Russian ones which I've never even heard of.

Probably kidding. July 4th is just another day for every other country except the U.S.

I think it would be easier to understand if you used punctuation.

I don't think Co0kies is the most active...

How did you get the background to go behind the sketchup?

If we talk about definitions, "pro" really stands for "professional". So a professional is someone who specializes and spends a lot of resources and time developing skills in a certain field. Tanki isn't exactly a field, but it is can be considered a sphere of competition. Therefore, is it safe to assume that to be a pro, one has to spend a considerable amount of money and time in the game?
-
If you don't have great weapons, you reach a point where no matter how "smart" you play, it doesn't make a difference. To be a pro do you have to play smart? Or is it really directly related to how much money you spend on the game?
-
Ok, I'll admit I was kind of exaggerating. So how can you tell a pro from another player?

Seriously people, what do you consider a pro? My definition would be someone who's exceptionally good at the game. This could be because the player is an addict who spends 500 bucks on the game, or it could be because of skill. IMOP, tanki doesn't require that much skill other then aiming.
-
Hm. So next time I see a recruit, should I consider him a pro?
-
If I see STM join I think....ummmmmmm

A pro at behavior or a pro at tanki?
-
I'm in. Who's on my team?
-
Hogree, I don't want to say you're bad, but you aren't a "pro." What I mean by pro is someone who has really good weapons and tanks.

What do you think? In order for one to be good at tanki, does one have to spend $200 and play 24/7 to be a pro? Does anyone know of a really good player who isn't glued to the screen? -
Personally, shafts are the most overrated and powerless weapons in all of tanki. To prove this, I went in stadium against a ton of brigadiers and such with shafts using a smoky. I just drive up to them and shoot them. I see the turret slowly coming to me, then I just drive a little to the side. I get a ton of xp for destroying such a high rated player, and I don't even get hurt.

Ugh do you know what I mean by "open source"?

How do you get the software? Is it open source somewhere?

Well, is there any such thing as maturity? I think that definitely maturity can be measured in someone in real life, but is it possible to see on the internet?
-
I was taught that any kind of swearing is bad. Even the "D" word is not allowed to be said. So I think that this means that how "bad" some cussing is is a relative term based on a person's background. Though I do agree that swearing AT someone is worse. Maybe maturity shouldn't be measured on swearing? How about the general way of doing things?
-
Wow. So you're bringing up another issue. What's the difference between "cussing" and "violent cussing"?
-
Do you think that a person can cuss occasionally and yet still be considered mature? I know some players who I've always held in high regards, until I went into a game with them...
