The servers take time to sync data between them. You will receive your points within a few minutes or after the next server restart.

I'd just like to tell you that no matter what you do, You cannot lower your ping beyond a certain point. Because the laws of physics still apply to electric circuits even if you use fibre cables, the universal "constant" of 3x108 m/s still exists. AKA, Unless your neighbour or someone else in your home is getting a lower ping than you, You won't be able to lower your ping from what you already have. It is physically impossible. EDIT: I know you said this in the OP, Just wanted to let anyone that skimmed through that part know. :)
