    Twins M3 disrupting tank movement

Thanks for statistics kingeoin14. Everything is clear now. I was counting number of twins when I play DM polygon map. It was always around 40%. This is probably from all maps under captain rank, Maybe I was self centered too much or annoyed. I think this topic should be closed. Thanks everybody.

    Twins M3 disrupting tank movement

therussian, very brief and crude answer. very russian. try to back it up with some statistics as I described in previous message and prove by any means that everything is OK with this subject. With respect to your credentials, luster77

    Twins M3 disrupting tank movement

Just to add one question. Does somebody have statistics showing what percentage of twins is used under rank of captain or warrant officer 5 in comparison to all other turret variants. I am sure that it will be quite surprising for cheap and low ranked weapon like that. Some other weapon - like ricochet should be next evolutionary and logical step. But NO - everybody just stick to twins because all the money they can invest on hulls and still having competitive turret. It is annoying for other playing styles and this is definitely de-balans in game.

    Twins M3 disrupting tank movement

OK, thanks for your answer. I dont know what means " new toruble popup ". Probably new trouble, and you are right - neverending story (twins counter complain etc.) Still, my personal opinion is that disrupting force should not be allowed more than M1 upgrade. (I dont consider damage, just movement disruption). It would still be a decent weapon for those who favor long distance shoot outs.

    Twins M3 disrupting tank movement

Respected creators/balancers of Tanki Online, Maybe you had same discussion somewhere else, but...I couldn't find any. Twins M3 are very annoying not because of damage, but movement disruption they create. I am using close combat weapons with hornet and I can normally "dance" around any tank, but with twins M3 they just stop me, and pin me down or aside. I have tried heavier hulls but effect is almost same. I don't think that such relatively cheap weapon should have such enormous impact on tank movement abilities. It should not reduce speed so much or bounce any tank like bulldozer from distance. Also, there is no react force to twins when they shoot. Physics of that weapon is not balanced with other weapons.
