We are gonna start jumping planets. We are gonna start with Mars. Earth is going to become sacred and if there was one planet you wanted to go to for a vacation, it is gonna be Earth. I feel that unless we take ourselves out with nukes in the next 100-150 years, humanity will probably survive until the the great rip (aka, the end of the universe as we know it). However, there may actually be more universes beyond this one, and we would live until all energy in... it for a lack of better word, runs out (and it will, a little energy is lost every time something happens). So, we cannot prevent or really even predict the "end", but humanity will probably live to see another several thousand years at the least.
