If red team captured more flags, you would get a bigger chunk of the reward. A 0-999 loss game would reward the losing team with almost nothing. But a 998-999 game would reward you, so so much more. That's why you must extend your efforts as a team.

That is already implemented, I use this tactic quite often to help fellow capers on my team. It's quite overpowered actually. Overpowered! Overpowered! Overpowere- oh wait. I like that quote. :-)
