You have to consider that, before the rebalance, it took only one double-powered Shaft to keep an entire enemy team from advancing Of course, this left many users frustrated, the Tanki developers had to do something about this, so they lowered the power of Shaft, so now it is no longer "king of the ring" :)

Technically, there is one form of profit from this update, but for only specific users: A losing player who would originally have taken home 0 crystals for his effort would instead be rewarded about 1 to 9 crystals, which is much larger than 0. Yet it is a palty sum, a microscopic atom compared to the millions of crystals he must save for his future! But it is still better than 0, I suppose :P
