Kind of metallicy and silvery. A bit like paint maybe... I do believe I will... and it will be my first M2. I could get Freeze, Hornet or Isida M2 right now if I wanted, but obviously I don't want it. If people are finding my night-by-night reports on how much XP I get, feel free to tell me to stop. :D Tonight I started out pretty bad, managed to scrape together 1k, then cooled off a bit because I got pretty mad at some drugging Isidas. Then I played an intense Iran TDM, which turned into a massive drug-fest, but my team came out on top with me in 2nd place and a respectable 700 crystals. Then I played about 5 Sandbox CTFs with 5 flags. I got about 100-150 XP per battle, so now it is 4k till I rank. :) Getting really excited now... I can feel the M2 Thunder! It's kinda bumpy...

I almost wish I bought Corrosion instead of Ceder... When MUed, Corrosion is pretty good.

I agree, the map has a lot of little cramped spots or big open spots, neither of which suit Thunder.

An M2 Hunter was on the other team in a Noise CTF I played and I didn't even realise it was M2 until half-way through because I killed it in the same number of shots. ;)

I'm 10k off ranking now, hoping to get it down to 9 or 8k tonight. :D UPDATE: I'm really surpised, but I got there easily. Might try for another 500 or so before bed. Got another 1000. Wow, only 7k till I rank. I can smell you, M2 Thunder! :lol:

Just sit in one place and shoot things with Mammoth. Thunder is fantasic with it, but Railgun and Smoky are very good with it too. If you like that play-style. I hate it, and I think most people do, it's so boring.

If you have Forester, MU it a bit if you haven't already and then you should be good until you have M1 Thunder or whatever you are getting. I think you will want a better paint before any M2s though.

I take it Smok / Lord is playing a lot of weekdays too, because that was some fast ranking up there. I can only play much on weekends... EDIT: Just brought up the 100k last night, pretty happy about that. I saved up from a mere 20k after I MUed a lot of stuff, so 80K in the past rank or so. Still 11.5k off ranking. Getting there. :D EDIT #2: I didn't buy 100k, I 'brought it up'... so I got to 100k... just to avoid any confusion. EDIT #3: I know these edits are getting ridiculous, but I have to post this. Firstly, I'm only 10k XP away from ranking. :fire_r: And secondly, I did a crazy battle in Noise in which my team won by 30-odd flags and I was top with over 2k score, but I only got about 2k fund. Still a great battle though. I'm really closing in on M2 Thunder.

Was his name silob? BTW, it only has 12% from each weapon or something like that. Might only be 10%.

What paint do you use currently?

I had about 4 different Hornet - Freezes after me in that battle... so Python probably would have been the main saviour. Most of them were M2 as well, so they took 3 shots.

I think Corrosion will mean you won't need Viking M1 for a little longer, at least until you get Thunder M1. Then you can use Thunder / Viking / Corrosion, which is a great combo.

Hey, that's a good start. Better than under 800, right? I think there might be a good sale on Easter (crossed fingers) so I can get my M2 Thunder then and you can maybe get M1 Viking then.

M1 Hornet is considerably more expensive than M1 VIking though.

Nah, you just gotta grind away. I thought I would never get the crystals for M2 Thunder, but I'm nearly there now.

I just used Thunder / VIking in a Desert DM, drugging a bit, with very good results. My only setback was the Railguns sniping me across the map... imagine Mammoth in that situtation....

If you play it right you can get that much in a day pretty easily at my rank and higher. ;) Isida is a very powerful M0, you can use it in most situations.

Viking M1 is quite cheap, and that has lasted me very well and will until I get it M2, but I don't know if you can spare the crystals... But that would be my suggestion. I know it's not a light tank, but it isn't too slow and it has a decent amount of health vs Railgunners.

I might wait 'till Easter. Hopefully there will be a decent sale then and I think it is highly likely I will have ranked by then. EDIT: Just played a brutal Desert DM 100 kills... I won, but only got 500 odd. A buyer with M2 Medium kit joined when I was about 10 kills off winning (he was drugging heavily). If he had joined earlier I probably would have left.

Dang it you beat me! :lol: I have barely been able to play in the past week though, so I'm not surprised. And there better not be a discount next week, that would piss me off so bad...
