Someone's a little desperate  Sadly for you she's already taken...by the gold box! Honestly though I could have found plenty of other more clever videos to take that 2nd place. To me it was just pandering to the mostly-male game staff.

How long is the Firewall expected to last? I can't see it in my garage but I wanted to get it for my alternate account who is almost at that rank.
-
Now one only needs to select Russia as their country in order to see the huge difference in pricing from the EU and US. -_-

Very true. I have around 350 double armor, 500+ speed boost, but only 75 double damage. There is some bias going on with deciding the mission rewards.
-
A fair deal. Hopefully this will take off some of the anger about reducing rewards. But still I had gotten some better rewards with the Daily Gift, and alot of times the mission rewards are NOT worth the effort to complete them. But, it's a start. Thank you.

Too bad this was unexpected, I had already spent all the crystals I earned during the x5 fund sales. Oh well. Maybe I'll be more patient next time! ;)

Earn 500 points in battle for 10 speed boosts and 7 mines. Seems fair...

Someone who knows their economics well want to explain to us why Tanki would stand to lose if they made crystal prices fair for all countries? I keep trying to understand but it's way beyond me at this point. -
From 5300 and 7950 to 1988? That is...far more than 50% difference. Something smells fishy.

What is this "negative effect on economy" they continue to use as excuse not to provide fair prices to all players? Really, there is no specifics given. Paying customers should expect some transparency when a company decides to change the rates for no reason other than "it would effect economy." In what way? -
Agreed 1000%. However Tanki will soon be switching from Flash to Unity. Hopefully it lessens the burden on some computers. But in my experience Unity tends to be very sluggish and prone to crashing (at least in Firefox), almost as much as Flash. Personally though I'm happy they are dropping Flash, much like the rest of the Internet is doing now.

Wasp+Fire on Polygon CP on x5 funds day... expect a torrential downpour of gold box :P
-
I don't understand why they reduced the rewards by 50% but didn't also reduce the cost of changing missions by 50% as well. So it's not really about helping the economy, if you end up stripping more crystals from tankers in the end.

So it is proven that those who buy with RUB get a distinct advantage. In fact even those who buy with EUR get an advantage over USD buyers (even though the euro is almost equal to the dollar). Some sort of anti-US bias it seems? Also to state that it would effect the economy negatively but without providing specifics, is just plain mysterious. -
It's official, we are getting 5x funds on Sunday! In the words of Semyon, it's going to be a hell of a day!
-
Think of all the nice things that 400k could have bought. :( You could have upgraded that Hammer, for instance.
-
Grrrr. We told them we'd give them x5 funds, but we don't really want to give them x5 funds. Shut it down!!! :D
-
When you cut too heavily into player's income, you are ALSO negatively effecting balance, by placing too much power into buyer's hands. And stripping the average Joe or Jane of their ability to earn anything meaningful.
-
Oh look, another "experiment." Not good. In my opinion a 25% decrease would have sufficed if you were that worried about profits. Missions were a great source of income, and worth the effort to complete, now will be just a trickle compared to before. -_- If you're going to reduce rewards by 50%, then you should also reduce time to complete missions by 50% as well. I'm not going to waste an hour collecting boxes for just a few hundred crystals.

Actually Hazel visits the Ideas section quite frequently, and sometimes he passes on good ideas to other developers, at least from what I've heard.

Changes in maximum range for Freeze, Firebird and Isida
Papaya14 replied to semyonkirov in News Archive
Freeze already has plenty of damage, and reloads fast enough. A skilled user could make it work, but the gun needs a bit of tweaking. Like I said earlier, what would be the most fair solution is to greatly buff Freeze's slowing effect at higher modifications (meaning M3 Freeze will have a bigger slowing effect than M0 for instance). In that regard it would be similar to Firebird where its burning effect grows stronger with each upgrade. Maybe even make "Freezing time" a micro-upgrade parameter (that way it's a win-win...for both Freeze users and developers' pockets :P ) -
True, Fire+Wasp could use some love ;) Same with Smoky and Hunter. (Maybe Smoky XT could make a comeback one day!) But, I think that'll only happen if they become as popular as Hornet+Rail is now. Which is to say a long time from now.
