What most likely happened is you had it set to automatic quality. You're computer had a lag spike or performance issue, and the game automatically turned off all settings to increase performance.

Awesome. My suggestion for a real top of the line gaming keyboard is this, but that's only if you are a serious gamer who's life is such :P If you're a normal person (like 99.837% of us), you can find a good gaming keyboard for under $100 ;) Thread closed.
