That's alarming, I've thought only more mature players like me have had eye fatigue, headache and other symptoms since the NP is presented. I'm quite sure that the NP is the culprit, all those mad racing tanks with jerky movements and fast changing textures strain our eyes and brains too much. I'd forbid my kids to play tanki too if they played it.

I feel your pain man, I've received that error a few times too. Can't say about it increasing or decreasing since the update because I'm not playing anymore. I believe that it's caused by low amount of free RAM, I can be wrong thou. Under either systems, the lines / images / graphics in general have lost both sharpness and clarity. Have you tried changing mip-mapping setting?

That 38 million registered players is a very inflated number. The actual number of unique and valid players is much much lower, my guesstimate is 3 or 4 times lower. Many players including me have multiple accounts, I have 4 and this is not my main account ;) I know some have as much as 5 or 6 accounts but usually it's 2 or 3 accounts.

A few words on the so called balance and how this update is related to it: A fraudulent scheme can be seen clearly, let me explain. One gun is buffed so all players rush to buy it. Accordingly, a lot of players use that gun in battles so everyone is forced to buy paints to protect themselves from that gun. Once the market is saturated and the sales of that gun and the paints fall the gun is declared out of balance and is nerfed. The most expensive guns are buffed usually. Coincidence? :rolleyes: Remember that rico was the most powerful gun before the rebalance? Thunder was crowned as a new king by rebalance but was nerfed soon. Reason? With all those refunded crystals on hands thunder sales fell pretty fast I assume. A lot of players bought thunder and Emerald at that time. Refund? No way. Next, twins took over thunder's place. Almost every high ranking player I know of bought twins and Rock or urban and guess what? Right, the twins is nerfed by this update as well as freeze and smoky. Refund? No way. Do you believe that it took them a year to see that twins was overpowered? The close range guns now have upper hand in battles thanks to the new physics. Almost everyone has a freeze but not firebird, much more expensive gun, 256100 crystals total vs 376850 crystals so they nerfed freeze. Again, Inferno is 159000 crystals while Zeus is 250000 crystals. I believe that I heard that it was impossible to introduce Micro Upgrades (MU) before the new physics is implemented due to technical difficulties but now I think that it was a lie. Physics were changed so that some guns could be nerfed in the process and MUs could be sold to the poor owners of those nerfed guns and others. Surely the deal will be sweetened with holiday sales. You know that it took them half a year of hard work to develop the new physics (which no one asked for) don't you? The time for this update and consecutively MUs could not be more favorable that the holiday season. Now rico is the new king, there are much more ricos around already compared to that before this update. Wait, you are asking how much does Clay cost? You guessed it right, 250K crystals. Cycle starts over, long live the king!!. Rant is over P.S. I have all m3 guns except isida and shaft (I never liked both) so I can always switch to another gun if my fav gun is nerfed but I'm quitting nonetheless, the new physics are are ridiculous at least. Besides, with all those racing tanks and fast movements it's very hard on my eyes. Actually, I'm shocked that no one else here mentions it while I know that many Russians experienced that too. Everyone else must have much younger eyes than me I guess :) I could play hours at time before this update. Playing half an hour after the update was more than enough for me.

I've made my choice already ;) Perfect balance can never be reached or as some Russian player cleverly put it the balance will be reached only if all players are equipped with the same gun, same hull with no paint and all battle points are summed up and divided amongst all players. :lol: Tthe only balance the developers care for is obviously their bank balance.

ALL Russian community praises this update?? :huh: You are wrong yourself at least, simply put it's a blatant lie. How can you even talk for ALL Russian community? Actually, the official Russian Update 205 thread got very heated so the developers simply closed it after 16 hours and 114 pages. If you've ever read that thread you could see that most of the Russian community is AGAINST Update 205. OTOH, even if ALL Russian community praises this update it doesn't mean that either English or German community should do it too (facepalm)

Read all posts and want to add my 2 cents. Met Kleric and few other shafts mentioned by OP in supposedly "No Isidas, No Shafts" NS Tribute so I just leave at once if they join the battle. We all play TO for fun but sometimes shafts take fun out of it. I think there's not much fun in getting killed repeatedly by shafts with just one shot right at spawn point. I have nothing against shafts but I need a refuge sometimes if I get frustrated by shafts too much and that refuge is (was) those NS Tribute battles. So I support the idea of battle creator being able to limit weapons used in that battle. Let me explain to Isida owners why nobody likes isidas in NS battles. Isidas are no match against ricos and thunders which are majority in NS battles so it's highly likely that the team will lose. Also, because of their short range isidas stay mostly at the base healing some marshals but steal the fund in case team wins.
