As unfortunate as it may be, it's not always possible to prevent issues like these, even with thorough testing before the release. Luckily they were able to fix it shortly. Has the problem been solved for you?

Like @BuriedSky said, in team games it's not all about making kills. In CP and CTF mode, the most important things are to capture points/flags and to prevent the opponent from capturing points/flags. This is why capturing and returning flags and taking back control points give you score also. Can you confirm if your dedicated graphic card (Nvidia) is actually active when playing? It is possible that your pc automatically uses the built in graphics card.

In that case you can try clearing the cache of your Safari browser if you prefer to play there instead of on Chrome.

In the case of Smoky, it must have been a little too strong still compared to other turrets. Considering the gold has a 1/10000 chance to drop, battles with golds disabled should get 0,1 crystal extra for every crystal added to the battlefund. So by the time the fund is 10000 in a normal game, in a gold disabled game, the fund will be 11000 (10000 fund + value of 1 gold). There are no details available on that yet. In addition to what said, opening another garage tab after you've changed your equipment helps also.

Using cheats is prohibited in this game, it doesn't matter if you use them in a normal game or in parkour mode. Still if you think your account got punished unfairly, you can contact the help desk through this form.
