If your Smoky is M3, then I don't see any problems. You can keep using Smoky until you can upgrade Railgun. Or you can buy Thunder next.

Play Sandbox, it's small, pretty easy to use drugs, crystals are always close by (so are the gold boxes). Try to enter games with players that have approximately the same rank. (Too high: you'll be run over, too low: battlefund increases too slowly). Keep using Viking and Thunder and upgrade those, if you weren't already planning on doing that. And last but not least, only enter battles you can finish and where you have a chance of winning.

And remember Shaft is the most expensive tier 2 weapon, so it should be the most powerful one. Yes, it can do a huge amount of damage in one go, but Shaft takes some time before it is completely loaded again. Use that in battle (if you can't be strong, be smart), when a Shaft shoots, then go and he can't kill you immediately. Last thing: if Shaft was as powerful as Railgun M1, why pay that amount of money to even buy Shaft?

Any server has the map Tribute, but it depends on whether someone created that map so you can actually play in it. If you happen to see no Tribute in a certain server, you can always create one yourself.
