Changes in the balance of Vulcan, some Drones and Alterations

They changed the mechanic of the turret itself (less 'normal' damage when overheating), instead of changing the overheating damage (less burn damage). Reducing burn damage would only affect players who use the incendiary band alteration, this change affects all Vulcan users. Previously, Vulcan favored heavy hulls because they could keep firing much longer when overheating than light hulls. Now it's far less interesting to keep firing when you start to overheat and it's likely a better choice to stop firing for a while to recharge. This was already the case for light hulls, but now it is too for heavy hulls. Combine that with a shorter start up time and Vulcan becomes a more versatile weapon, rather than mainly a camping weapon. So much for the reasoning behind the change. Time will tell if the changes have the intended effect or not. With the alteration, you can shoot three times in a row quickly and then the energy tank is empty. The time it takes for your energy tank to completely fill up has been increased. So the speed at which the energy tank fills has been reduced (by 15%) It's certainly not intentional for the damage to be reduced when Vulcan isn't overheating, so I've reported it as a bug. -

The only place I've been cannon fodder every time has been on Highway and coincidentally I always seem to end up in the red team in Assault. Yet even there attacking gave me score the fastest. To a lesser extend I've noticed it on Magistral, Brest and Serpuhov. Most other maps offer enough cover to 'safely' make your way into the enemy team.

This complaint is included in the list of reported complaints on the first page of the topic. If there's something you dislike in the game, you can check that post first to see if it's been already reported to the developers or not. I'm afraid I do not have an answer to your question though.

We already have a paint called Mars though. Looking at it that way, naming it Ares would make more sense.

I found it much easier to earn score (and therefore stars) by playing the game mode for what it was intended. Whenever I focused on capturing flags/points or scoring goals, I ended in the top 3 spots most of the times. When I played a more supporting role I ended up in the bottom half. Perhaps I'm just not good at camping, but I'm a defender by nature and still I preferred attacking to earn stars as quickly as possible. I find it interesting that apparently the majority of players think about or experience this differently.

It has been forwarded. It can certainly become rather inconvenient having to make sure to move every 2 minutes in the heat of a battle. And you're certain this issue started occurring only last week?

Our CM checked with the programmers for confirmation and they assured that golds are dropping ten times more often.A couple of VLOG episodes ago it was explained how golds in MM don't drop based on fund but are calculated differently, so that's why it might look a bit confusing

Exactly, and with that in mind, the winning team shouldn't be penalized for it. Imagine those football games, where the winning team would lose a point for every goal that the losing team would make. It is still possible to get perfect balance in terms of equipment with a rank range of 8 or more, but only if rank isn't the only factor taken into account. Even with wide rank ranges, each team can have an equal amount of m3s, m2s etc. The thing is that rank alone doesn't determine which equipment is used. On top of that, ranks among teams might be somewhat balanced, but one team might have more players that are ranked above a certain unlock rank than the other team.

Those weren't hackers, these issues you're describing are all the result of the lags. Because of that (several of) your actions/commands never reached the servers and therefore didn't damage your opponents, enable your supplies etc. They're currently working on fixing the lags, so hopefully you'll be able to shoot those opponents to bits soon again.
