I really like Tanki, but sometimes I wish I had never known about it (if you know what I mean). P.S. I don't think topics should be possible to create unless the title is more than three characters long.

What is the link for the english feedback? feedback.tankionline.com takes me to the Russian one.

Although there are many cases of people being angry, I also see a lot of people congratulate the person who got Gold. That is what I try to do (although sometimes I get too angry for it).

Awesome idea for ideas and people with ideas.

Story [Issue 12] If Drugs Were Illegal, Segment 1: The Announcement
jokjinari replied to jokjinari in [Issue 12] If Drugs Were Illegal, Segment 1: The Announcement Newspaper Archive
June 3, 2013 Hello, I guess... My name is Edward and I'm 13 years old. I've decided to start a journal, and not just any journal, but a journal about my favorite video game--Tanki Online. You may think that's strange, but know this: video games are important too. They are becoming a larger part of peoples' lives and deserve a bit more recognition. The other reason I'm writing this (and probably the more important one) is because Miss Reynolds (my english teacher) asked (commanded may be a better word) me to keep a journal for the summer and since my life is (usually) quite boring, I decided I'd write about Tanki. I'm not sure that this is what Miss Reynolds had in mind, but hey--she wanted me to start a journal and that's what I'm doing isn't it? I wonder what she'll say in September when she reads this? I doubt she'll understand much of it. Hopefully I'll be able to find things to fill it with; otherwise, this journal will be quite boring if "I got a gold box today" or "My daily bonus was crystals" are all that it consists of. June 4, 2013 Hello again...I guess this is my first day of actual journaling--yesterday didn't exactly count, it was more of an introduction. Let's see...what should I say...? Well, yesterday was Tanki Online's 4th birthday so there is (and I assume there will be every year) a week of special discounts on all of the items in the garage! I really would like to get Isida M2, but unfortunately, I don't have any cry to spend on it (I spent them all on drug kits), and my weekly allowance (which I frequently use for buying crystals) isn't due for more than a week! Since I'm not able buy anything, I thought to myself: "Why not drug?" and, oh man, did I have fun. (I wonder what Miss Reynolds will think when she sees the word 'drug'!?! Hahaha!) All the other players hated me but I didn't really care; if they got to buy more powerful tanks, why shouldn't I make my tank more powerful with drugs? I won a ton of battles that way, but I probably wasted more crystals in drugs than I got from the funds... Oh well; sacrifices must be made. Today, I pretty much played Tanki all day long (I know I shouldn't have, but what else is there for me to do?). I spent most of my time in a Silence CTF battle called ИЗИДА ЗАПРЕЩЕНА! (whatever that means) driving around and healing my team. My teammates loved me, because for some reason I was like the only Isida, which is really weird since usually there are Isidas everywhere. Anyway, after a few rounds of simple battling--a captured flag here; a captured flag there--the computer decided to spice things up a bit and drop a Gold Box on us. Even before the notification had time to fade away all the players had flocked to the drop zones, drugs on full. My heart rate sped up so fast that I could almost hear it beating and all of my muscles became tense. Almost as if they were acting on their own my fingers pressed 234. I had to get this gold! (Which is what, I'm sure, every single player was also thinking.) Since almost everyone had already converged on the right side of the map I decided to try my luck at the long ramp that was on the left. I parked myself near the top. Thankfully nobody was there. Above me were a few enemy tanks, but they did not attack me. No doubt if the Gold fell here they'd jump for it--but I was hopeful that they'd miss. Waiting seemed to take forever and ever. My fingers began to sweat and my heart rate showed no signs of getting any slower. All of a sudden there it was--a glorious golden box slowly drifting down right on top of me! I couldn't help but laugh at all the tankmen who had flocked to the other side of the map! What noobs! Then I remembered the players above me. They jumped down as one, pushing and shoving each other the whole time (I wonder if that could be called multing?), which wasn't very wise, since they just sailed right over the edge and into space. The Gold Box was mine! My muscles suddenly relaxed and my body felt weak. My fingers were shaking and I was breathing hard. I tried to play more, but I couldn't focus at all, so I left the battle. The gold had given me plenty of crystals--more than I would have gotten from the fund at least. For the rest of the day I played in various Silence battles--winning a few, but mostly losing. After catching that gold it was hard to play very well. Oh, and before I forget, the developers announced that update 157 would be released tomorrow. Something that would "Majorly improve gameplay," was what Bruce Lunga called it in the announcement. I wonder what? I really hope it's something awesome! June 5, 2013 Oh man! Oh man! Oh man! Last night I could hardly sleep my mind was so full of guesses and expectations. It's all I can do to write in this journal instead of checking Tanki! Bruce said that it would change the gameplay, so all I can think of is that this is finally Micro-Upgrades or even... night-mode. Wait. It could be new tanks and guns. OH. MY. WORD. THAT would be super awesome! Okay, I just can't do it anymore. I'm off to check Tanki! Ciao! June 6th, 2013 I'm terribly sorry that I didn't write in my journal again yesterday (Come to think of it, you probably won't care, because you'll be reading this all at once) but I just couldn't bring myself to do it. I was too busy crying. If I had been told how my day was going to turn out, I wouldn't have believed it. The respon--Well, I should probably start from the beginning. Just after I left my journal yesterday morning my mom asked (You'd probably call it forced) me to come with her and visit my Aunt Barbara's house. "You'll have a blast with your little cousin," was how she put it. It was pure torture. That's one thing my mom doesn't understand. I absolutely HATE small children. I know, I know, I was their age once too, but still. I just can't understand them. Anyway, I'm getting off-topic. After what seemed like eternity (You know what I'm talking about. There are certain houses that your visits to them seem to take forever and no matter what you do, your boredom does not decrease.) we finally came home and I was able to check Tanki. I went straight to the forum and there it was--right where it should be--in the Developers News section: Update 159 -- Removal of Supplies. I couldn't believe it. This had to be a joke. It was just the other day that I had spent nearly all my crystals on drugs and now Tanki was taking them away? This couldn't be possible. Still convinced it was a joke (There had been that April Fools prank before), I clicked on the topic, which already had 237 pages of replies. The topic seemed a bit vague, but it said nothing about any kind of joke. Here, I'll copy it down: "Dear Tankmen! By popular demand we have decided to remove supplies and supply drops from the game. This will solve the problem. Battles now depend on skill alone! All the drugs in your garage have been taken away and refunded with crystals. As for daily bonuses you will now only receive crystals, a double crystal card, or a day long score multiplier pass. Share your impressions in this topic." So I guess it must be true. But something feels wrong (Yes, Miss Reynolds, I know I you told me not use conjunctions to begin sentences, but seriously, who cares? It sounds good there). Why would the developers remove drugs? To what purpose? Why not just make no-supplies battles free? And why "By popular demand"? Yeah, sure, a lot of players hate druggers, but I'm sure everyone doesn't mind being able to drug once in a while. And why did they announce this so abruptly? There was no warning; the contents of this update were a total surprise. I'm telling you, something's up--something really strange. I'm nearly positive that the developers are hiding something and I am going to be the one who gets to the bottom of it. To Be Continued... -
Yes. Tanki is not just the developers' hobby, it is their job. When you have a job won't you want to make some money? I should think so.

When you can actually come up with a reply to this topic.

Actually, I probably won't because I am on the staff and it is possible that I could be chosen for the staff team.

Story [Issue 12] Breaking News: Drugs Harmful For Environment
jokjinari replied to jokjinari in [Issue 12] Breaking News: Drugs Harmful For Environment Newspaper Archive
A major breakthrough has been made in the observation of self-activated consumables in Tanki and how they interact with the environment! Previously it had been believed that the use of supplies was relatively harmless, but recent studies have shown the exact opposite! The use of supplies, or drugs, as they are most commonly known, has been proven to add deadly toxins as well as tankhouse gases to the air, something very harmful to our precious environment. In the past this fact hadn't been much of a problem, and maybe that is why it took so long to be discovered, but recently there has been a high increase of drug use--which will have disastrous effects if nothing is done about it, and done quickly. Why this sudden increase of drugging? No one knows for sure, but most think that the introduction of "Supply" kits, which effectively lowered drug prices by half, had something to do with it. Now even mediocre players can afford to buy large quantities of drugs, whereas in the past very few players (mostly noobs and those with high ranks) bought any drugs at all. During an interview when Bruce Lunga was asked about the drug issue he simply answered "See you on the battlefield!" and removed himself to the nearest restroom. We have been unable to get any official statements from Tanki Online, but the scientists who made this discovery tell us that they are unsure of what should or even can be done about this problem, saying "We are working our hardest to find a way around this inconvenience." Will they be able to? Nothing is certain. The scientist in charge of the project (he wishes to remain anonymous) revealed just how dire our situation truly is when he said "If we don't figure something out soon, a Moon Silence colony may be our only hope." His organisation is presently contacting world leaders about transportation arrangements. Others have different, and less drastic ideas. A leading environmentalist, Rain E. Day is sure that "The key is to raise awareness of what supplies actually do to the environment. If nobody knows that there is a problem, how will anything change?" She has recently started The Effects of Drugs Awareness movement which is gaining more and more followers every single day. Currently TEDA is negotiating with the Developers to create an official Tanki holiday for drug awareness. To celebrate they hope for a 25% discount on all items in the garage (except for drugs of course) and a free no-supplies battle pass for all players. As of yet, no reply has been given and nothing official has been arranged. "If we get this holiday passed, it could really turn things around," says Woody Forester, Day's personal assistant. He hopes that once enough players get a taste of actual no-supplies battles they won't even want to use drugs anymore. For the most part the general public is alarmed and very willing to do something about this new discovery, but not everybody is so helpful. Makarov Drugger, a war hardened Generalissimo, tells us "I don't care if supplies are bad for the air. Let the air take care of itself. You can create holidays and tell me not to activate my drugs, but as for me, I'll use 'em and that's all there is to it!" Others, although few, echo his sentiments. As you can see, the situation does not look bright. The scientists have been working around the clock to find a solution, but so far their efforts have produced nothing. Your help would be appreciated greatly, so if you have any ideas as to what can be done, feel free to post them below. -
But didn't you know? NEVER start a sentence with a conjunction.

So... I have decided to do best of smoky on my alternate account. ^_^ It may be ugly, but it sure is fun. I assume you have similar plans splitterpoint?

I have done that more then once.

Just play in medium maps. Thunder + Polygon = amazing battle. And if you don't like it, why use it?

I am going to various summer camps...nothing much.

WITHOUT ME? How could you?!? ;) Well, Congratulations!

I wrote this poem a while back: How a Drug Battle Started. Christmas joy was in the air, For the day was almost here, But these tank men didn’t care, Because they lacked the Christmas Cheer. Railgun: Why can’t I kill at all? Stupid twins throws off my aim! When will gold decide to fall? I’ll have to drug to win this game! Twins: Noob railer hurts me badly, Then thunder does the rest! I can’t win this battle, sadly, But I’ll drug to stop those pests! Thunder: I’m so glad that I am winning! What! They use supplies? Who cares! (he says while grinning) I’ll drug just like those guys! Freeze: My tank just isn’t strong! I can’t kill before it dies! This has gone on much to long! I must activate supplies! …A drug battle was begun, Though it started all for nought, Twenty fighting for the fund, Twenty lagged out as they fought. So tank men please remember, That when Christmas day is near, Or even sometime in December, To be full of Christmas cheer.

Clearly your grammar need bit of work.

I didn't mean it that way. I was just giving a helpful piece of advice. Anyway, did you know that you have the most posts in the "What to buy, What to use" topic? Thanks for helping people with their decisions! :)

Thanks for adding Ukraine! B)

You have 806 posts! Wow! That's amazing! Not many people can say the same! But remember, it's not the count that counts, but the content of the posts. ;)

Take away one of the options that has 0 votes and add Ukraine. :D

This guy was on pause, so he didn't move at all. It also happens to be that you can't self-destruct until you appear.
