After a Shaft shoots you, it turns around randomly and you wouldn't know if it's still aiming at you or someone else. -_- The person using the Shaft wouldn't know this. Oh. Mistakes in your post corrected BTW.

They are working on that too. But remember, being a ghost can happen for lag too, so you'll kick all players with lag.. You say that now, but there are thousands of ways to solve lag.
