Railgun rocks in the beginning ranks until about Brigadier - small rank weapon. Railgun is best used on medium-large maps. Thunder rocks from WO4 to about Marshal - medium rank weapon. Thunder is best used on medium-small maps. I'm a Railgun lover, but sometimes I think I should have chosen Thunder (though rarely).

It's an organized (and sometimes supervised) form of Tanki gaming, as opposed to free-for-all spontaneous battles you would encounter on the servers.

Team training with CS was full of firebirds. Like 5/6 turrets ;)

Well, they all have a nice military feel to them, so the new maps created with the 3rd prop library give off an awesome atmosphere, kind of like playing in a futuristic war. Though individually, yes, they aren't nice looking.

I used Dictator all the way through 2 Lt, where I could get Hornet M2, reason being: Dictator is awesome with rail, but at M2 it is really lame. So I suggest doing the same thing I did - save up for Dictator M1, use that as long as you can until you have enough to get Hornet M2.

Railgun is awesome, you will not regret using it. Buy the hornet, it goes well with Rail and Freeze, and decent with Rico and Smoky. Dictator is a worthy hull, glad you're planning to buy it.
