The most epic setting ever is identical to the "Battles for Sandbox" that they have now. Hornet + Rail + no anti-rail paint. Playing that at m3 is nothing short of uttermost fun. So much speed and precision, skill and tactic, it's amazing. Teamwork is essential, as is not wasting a single hit. No other weapon can make for such suspense and excitement.

Twins: the ultimate noob weapon. No more needs to be said. There is absolutely no skill required to wield this gun with relative precision. Just turn and shoot. Use a heavy hull to keep yourself steady, and you're ready to massacre the masses. TBH, I feel sorry for the players the settle permanently for twins. They hardly learn anything, and when the time comes to use another weapon, they absolutely suck, because the other weapons at least require some skill. I used to be a m3 wasp-twins before the re-balance, and I remember kicking everyone's behind, just because it was so easy. I recommend it for low ranks, just to get their income flowing, but if you want to be a real player, get something that takes some brains and reflexes to use.

I find firebird annoying, and I don't mean when it's used on me. It has a super fast discharge, and takes ages to reload again, and can barely kill a medium hull, like viking on dictator.

I think it's the best choice up to 3rd Lieutenant, and an excellent choice for Generalissimos. But in between it's totally not worth it.

Polygon 200 kills isn't a long battle, it's a medium-short one. Although I guess it depends on what you usually play. I'd say 100 kills is a short battle, so a long one would be 500 kills upwards. Some CTF with no time limit (silly battle creators) last for hours on end, and the outcome is decided by the druggers who eventually come and ruin (or fix, depending on which side you're on) everything.

It depends on your mood. You'd play CTF to develop teamwork (for wars, etc), DM to get crystals, TDM to practice aiming and CP to... idk.. have fun? :)
