Technically we are all upgrading for a fighting chance - against other upgraded tanks and hulls. But as the damage of our turrets increases with every tier, so does the HP of hulls. The battle speed seems to be increasing with higher fire rate and tank speed.

I wouldn't be so sure; this was just an experiment. Hazel-Rah has posted about the possibility of introducing XT versions of rail which could have different parameters for example- with lesser reload but balancing it with reduced damage. That could spell trouble for XP. Although that seems a long way off, I hope they take the views of all the players in consideration before going ahead with it.

Oh, well didn't know that. I haven't played since they rolled them out. In that case, sign me up for the anti - XT campaign.
